It is a misdemeanor crime to resist process, but you certainly don't have to meet them in any specific place.
MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972
Sec. 97-9-75. Resisting service of process
Any person who knowingly and willfully opposes or resists any officer or other authorized person in serving or attempting to serve or execute any legal writ or process, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.

It would be difficult for you to prove your case since it may end up your word against the doctor of whether the doctor told you about it. These cases are very expensive for attorneys and law firms to handle on a contingency bases thanks to all the tort reform laws that give medical providers much more protection than any other entity except maybe the government. I'm sorry for you pain and wish I could offer you better news.See question

They didnt carry me to hospital do i have a chance if i file a lawsuit
I agree with the previous answers and I will add that since the bad tort reform laws in Mississippi, based on the limited facts you posted, I don't believe you have enough damages to make a civil action against the Police Department economically feasible. With that said I encourage you to get a second opinion.See question
We recently settled out of court around the first of October. The state legislature exclaims each party responsible had a 120 day range to make all of their payments. Each party has paid and it has now been a total of 10 weeks now.
There is no way to say for sure because it depends on so many factors. You may well get compensated before the 120 days.See question

I got a ticket in 2013 for no insurance after I had dented someone's car door. His insurance company fixed his damage, sued me, and now has had the Great State of Mississippi suspend my license. How do I get a hardship license?
You will have to satisfy the civil judgment before you can get your license reinstated. Once you get the judgment paid then you can show proof from the Court to the DMV that you paid it and then get your license reinstated.See question

If you are represented currently, then please discuss your questions with your attorney. There is no good reason you should settle with the insurance company without hiring a personal injury attorney to help you. There may be other insurance coverage available and you certainly don't want to leave money untapped. I am very sorry for your loss.See question

Mississippi is a 'work at will' state and an employer can fire you for any reason they want as long as its not a violation of your civil rights such as race or gender or similar violation of your protected rights. Further, the employer does not have to give you ANY reason at all if they fire you. There are very few exceptions, but if you have an employment contract then it would depend on the language of your employment contract. As mentioned by previous attorney comments, if your shoulder injury was job related then you should hire a workers compensation attorney immediately, but even then they can still fire you if you were off work due to a work related injury. I hope you get well soon. Best Wishes.See question

You may qualify for an expungement and have the charges and arrest removed from your record. The process you would need to do it hire an attorney to file the Petition with the Court, then generally there is a hearing set and the Judge will consider whether to expunge the conviction. There should be plenty of attorneys in the Starkville area who can help you with this and it is not that expensive. If the cahrges are successfully expunged, it will be as if it never happened. Best Wishes and Happy Holidays.
