Jay Carmean Review

We engaged Jay for our son, a current student at Ole Miss. Jay did a great job in representing our son's best interest. He worked hard to achieve a great outcome under the circumstances and in light of the fact that we are located 7 hours away. We would highly recommend Jay.

If you need a lawyer in Oxford, contact Jay IMMEDIATELY! 100% recommended.

After getting into a bit of trouble I decided to contact Jay based off of his reputation around town for being an honest guy who won't sugarcoat the situation. I couldn't be happier with that decision. From the first meeting we had with Jay it was apparent he was extremely knowledgeable and profes...sional especially when dealing with the Oxford judicial system. He outlined a plan of action that we were to follow and also set some guidelines that I would have to follow in order to show him that I was truly interested in getting back on track. This not only showed me that he had a plan to go into court with solid evidence of myself trying to rectify the situation but also showed that he truly cared about my well being as a person first, client second. I NEVER had a problem getting in contact with Jay. If he was in court I received a phone call as soon as he was done. If I sent him an email it was answered within 24 hours the latest. One thing that some lawyers struggle with is keeping in contact after your initial meetings and money has been exchanged. Jay did not only become my lawyer, he became my friend, and made my family and I feel 100% secure that he would do whatever he had to do to rectify my situation. After the process of proceedings and probation had completed Jay was quick to move towards expungement and follow up with me to see how I was doing and what I was up to. Along the way he never stretched any truths and even if it was something I didn't necessarily want to hear he would say it as it was the honest truth and something I needed to prepare for. Needless to say he went above and beyond expectations set by my family and I. If your child is away at school in Oxford and gets in trouble (this is what happened to me, I was the child) I would highly recommend contacting Jay to represent you. It's hard to convey through merely words how much I appreciate his services and everything he did for me. I am happy to say that everything has been resolved and I have been able to move on with my life without any blemishes on my record (which is something other lawyers said would never happen).

Jay Carmean

Jay is very helpful. He has represented me 3 times in Oxford and ever time, despite the circumstances, has actually been enjoyable. I have referred a few people to jay, and will continue to do so in the future.

Excellent Legal Service Provided By Jay Carmean

Jay has helped guide myself and family through a couple of legal situations involving my college aged son. He always responds promptly to my emails and phone calls while getting the answers needed. Jay is professional, caring, and an attorney whom I trust to do the best for his client. Good person to know.

Jay was extremely helpful in a legal situation in which our student was arrested and brought to jail overnight for a minor traffic offense. Video proved to us there was not evidence of driving under the influence. Since were live out of state, we fully relied on Jay's experience to guide us on how ...to solve the issues. Our student knows he can go to Jay if he encounters any issue in the future.
