Confidence & Trust!

Receiving that phone call 800 miles away that your college student has been arrested will leave most parents in shock and looking for direction. The search for a lawyer starts with the web. After quickly researching several firms, I began making calls but had to leave messages as it was a holiday. ... I quickly received a call back from Jay. After discussing the situation, I listened carefully to his approach, his style and his tone. Jay instilled a confidence in me that allowed me to hire him before the end of the call. Although the case took a year and a half to settle, we could not have had a better outcome. Jay's understanding of the legal system in Oxford and sticking to the game plan he originally proposed was invaluable. We put our trust in Jay and he performed exceptionally. Jay has become more of a friend not only to me but also to my son. I would recommend Jay to anyone; especially if you are a parent whose college student found their way into trouble and you are miles away from Oxford. A call to Jay may put you at ease.

Jay Carmean is the man

I got a simple assault charge on the square. He did whatever he had to doh in a quick and precise manner and i am now waiting so i can hire him again in a year to get my charges expunged.

More than just a lawyer

I highly recommend Jay Carmean for any legal issues in the Oxford area. Jay helped me through an extremely difficult time in my life by providing legal help as well as support, trust, and encouragement. He served not only as my lawyer but also as a friend at a time when friends were hard to have. Whe...n I first contacted Jay I felt at ease as he showed no signs of judgement with my rash college decisions and the corresponding consequences. He kept a sense of optimism through the whole case offering encouraging words and support reminding me I can and will get through this. I was treated not as college student but rather as an individual. Jay was extremely knowledgeable and resourceful as he went out of his way to work on my case, which occurred in a small town 45 minutes outside of Oxford. He was truly invested in gathering and analyzing every detail of the case. Jay was very professional by keeping me in the loop of the case, as well as my family. Could not recommend Jay Carmean more to anyone looking for legal assistance
