A True Professional

Jay was referred to me by a business law colleague. A family member had been involved in a vague traffic incident that appeared to have long lasting implications. Jay listened to the details and then interviewed the family member. His experience and knowledge of the law allowed him to recommend an... action that resulted in an expungement of the record associated with the incident. Jay and his staff communicated effectively and efficiently throughout the process. He laid out a course of action that was easily understood , and then provided updates as necessary. I can't say enough about his professionalism and his ability to meet expectations.

great attorney/outstanding person

If your child gets in trouble in Oxford, go straight to Jay Carmean. Jay took the time to educate us about the Mississippi judicial system (we are from out of state) and provided us with a folder that contained everything we needed to know to move forward with the situation. He is certainly a great a...ttorney and knows his stuff, but more importantly, he is an outstanding person. He cares deeply about his young clients and their families and goes far above and beyond to not only clean up his client's mess but to help set them on a positive track moving forward. He is truly amazing.

Jay Carmean was recommended to me by a family friend when my child was a student at Ole Miss. After consulting with Jay, we decided he was our best choice for defending and expungement. Thankful

If I could summarize how I feel about hiring Jay it would be thankful! I could not have gone through my situation without him and his firm. Once they took my case I felt like I could breath again. Will do whatever is necessary to help client

I was arrested as a freshman and came to Jay with the intentions of dealing with the situation on my own (as I was 18). Jay provided me with all of the information I needed, and took care of all correspondence with the court (ie guilty plea, expungement etc.). He is the lawyer me and all of my friend...s have used and so far has done nothing less than a great job.
