I have practiced in the greater Memphis area for over 10 years. During that time, I have developed experience in a broad range of litigation while having the opportunity to work with and for some excellent attorneys. I began my own practice in 2010, which focuses on family law and personal injury.
I get a tremendous amount of satisfaction representing people who have been injured through no fault of their own. People who become injured this way can be vulnerable to insurance companies seeking to avoid responsibility for the full extent of the loss experienced. I help my clients and their families seek fair compensation for medical expenses, missed work and painful recoveries.
My family law practice differs from many of my colleagues in how I charge fees for my services. Most attorneys use a billable hour format, in which they charge clients for the time spent working on a case in one-tenth or one quarter hour increments. Fees for legal services charged on an hourly basis are largely unpredictable for clients, and can sometimes become excessive (especially in the area of family law and divorce). I believe that unpredictable and excessive attorney fees contribute to the overall negative perception of attorneys that many people have.
My approach abandons billing clients based on the time that I spend. Rather, I bill for what is done based off of a schedule of fees listing set prices for specific tasks . This approach allows for the client to know their costs in advance. It is my goal that this reduces the stress and anxiety that accompanies being involved in a divorce or other family law dispute.

I wholeheartedly endorse this lawyer. I met Eric during my first year of law school and had the good fortune of working together with him on two in-school competitions (where together we won the Best Brief Award for the Advanced Moot Court Competition) and two national moot court competitions competing against schools from around the nation (where we also won a Brief Award and twice made the cut into the elimination rounds). Incredibly, I also got the opportunity to work with Eric after law school for over a year as well. In that time, it was easy to see that Eric is a passionate advocate and the consummate professional. You would be hard-pressed to find a better attorney in the Memphis area.
