Invisible War fighting for disability

I’m writing this review in appreciation for: Attorney Edwin Anderson, Dana Shelton, Paralegal at the: Disability Law, P.C. office-Knoxville TN. I wanted to express how grateful I am for everyone starting from the from the front desk because this is where it all starts with that first call , and... these people are generally not included, however they take messages to give to the paralegals, the attorneys and they are just as important so thank you !!! I know many of times I have called just to check on my sisters status or ask questions . The front staff never told me to call back and if they did they gave me a reason why . I just didn’t get .. Dana’s not here call back in hour or call back after 2pm . I know it takes quite a bit of patience to work at the front desk . However filing for disability is not something someone wants to do or maybe not have a choice at the time being but it’s there in case you have to use it and very difficult to obtain by yourself in todays society . On the other hand if you don’t have a strong advocate for you and don’t have someone fighting for you it’s even harder . The resources are out there but people don’t know where to start with the calls, the paperwork , the start and stop with old employers 5-10 years ago because you need every place you have ever worked at in your life. It's very overwhelming and even more overwhelming when you have a mental illness. Mental illness is a disease just like having diabetes or hypertension but typically is pushed to the side and not treated like that . Mental illness is ultimately harder to fight for by yourself without some legal advice that's why we get attorneys obviously. My sibling was one of those people . She was denied not once but twice this office fought to the nails for her . I’m forever grateful for all of them. It's a package deal. This firm won my sister‘s case. I gave all her information, they listened and they were very detailed with their responses , very compassionate, and they kept fighting for her, no tension was felt anywhere in the office . The process from the beginning to the end was a positive experience and I would encourage anyone looking for a disability attorney to contact this office because they will have your best interests in mind . For everyone out there don’t give up, let this office be your voice when you don’t have the fight in you anymore. Respectfully, T. Lopez

Excellent Attorney

The reason Ed Anderson’s reviews are so positive and encouraging is due to the simple fact that he is absolutely the best of the best. Ed is truly a considerate attorney, never making me feel uncomfortable about my diseases. Ed’s presentation of my medical and work documents were exceptionally wel...l structured. I have to mention that the entire office works closely together in regard to acquiring documentation, and Dana, the paralegal I have been working with is incredible. I will end with my sincere recommendation to anyone looking for help with their disability questions. Ed Anderson, and his team at Kenneth Miller Law and Associates, are nothing short of spectacular.

Don't go it alone!

I had been told by several friends (that recommended Edwin) that they had been turned down for disability several times before getting approved - don't go it alone. The office went thoroughly over all of my applications and made it an easy process. I felt very comfortable with all of the staff there,... and very confident of their process. I was approved on my first go around which is a relief. I would highly recommend this lawyer and his office - they are worth the commission!

Thank you for the nice words, Cheryl. I am glad we were able to get an early win on your case. Most cases don't come out this way and some go on for two years before a judge has to make the decision. We all wish you the best!

EXCELLENT ATTORNEY

I hired Mr. Anderson to represent me in a case regarding my grandmother and her well-being. He was very quick to respond to any questions I had and willing to listen to my concerns and explain everything to me. His staff and partners are all very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend Mr. A...nderson and the firm.
