I called the Higgins Law Firm about a legal problem after a friend suggested them. I told the lady that answered my needs and she said hold on a minute. In a short time Mr Higgins picked up the phone. After listening to my needs he said my location would make it difficult to handle my case at their high standards. He said he would try to find me an attorney closer to my town that would do a good job. I expected that was the end of it or at best it would be days. I heard from him in less than an hour with a name of an attorney in my area. In this day and times this kind of professionalism is rare and I was impressed. This man has integrity. He went "ABOVE AND BEYOND" as far as I'm concerned and I would recommend him and his firm for anyone because he is truthful and tell you if he thinks he's not the best person for your needs. And he wouldn't accept any money for this service. Thanks Mr Higgins!!

Medical Settlement

I am so glad and grateful that I was referred to Jim Higgins. He and his assistant, Cassie, were always so pleasant and reachable (by phone, email or in person). My questions were always answered in a timely matter. I felt he took my settlement case very seriously. Jim was always honest about what could or could not happen. Cassie the paralegal was excellent

Cassie was super helpful and took an hour out of her busy day to explain workers compensation settlement procedures over the phone. All of this and the best part was the cost. She charged me absolutely nothing and offered further help if it was needed. I hope she truly understands how much that meant to me.

Hurt at work

I was hurt at work and called The Higgins Firm. Jim and his team quickly helped me to deal with the Worker Comp company. With his knowledge of Workers comp law and his experience he was able to get a good and fair settlement.

Jim handled my mom's car wreck and gave us prompt professional advice and care. The other parties insurance wouldn't have taking care of the situation as they should have if not for Jim! Higgins Firm was the right choice for me

I was very apprehensive about choosing a law firm to pursue a fair labor standards case. I have never filed a lawsuit and dreaded the risk of choosing a law firm. I felt better from the first phone call because I was given information, allowed to ask many questions and treated with respect. I gained a comfort level quickly and I believe I made a great choice with this firm for this area of law. Everyone is easy to talk to and detailed oriented. Whatever the outcome, I believe I will have been represented well.

Worker's comp

If it hadn't been for Mr. HIGGINS worker's comp would have stopped nine months after my case had started. I live in NC and worked for a trucking company out of Tennessee where I had to file claim. I feel he represented me with loyalty, integrity and never mislead me about case. I wouldn't hire anyone else but him if I had to do it all over again.
