You will be taken care of

Kristen represented me through a custody dispute, as I tried to navigate the best possible scenario for my daughter, age 5. We knew some of the things I was fighting for (relocation) was an uphill battle, but she supported me while also giving me realistic assessments of our options. She is well-know...n with other lawyers for her ability to mediate and had been recommended to me by her peers. I highly recommend her! We had a successful mediation despite some extremely challenging decisions.

Amazing Family Law Attorney

Divorce is such a terrifying emotional roller coaster and Kristen helped get me through the trenches of it. From day one, the most scary day of all, her sweet and always professional office manager, listened to me cry out what I needed someone's professional assistance with. Thankfully Kristen was ...able to get me in same day to meet with her. She informed me on the laws of our county/state, what my legal rights are, and most of all treated me like I was human being and not just some other case. Kristen is very detailed, organized and knows the law inside and out. Unfortunately the other side of my divorce cost both sides more money and dragged it out longer than it should have, due to the attorney he hired. It pays to have someone on your side that knows family law inside and out and has great experience. I couldn't have gone through all of it without Kristen in my corner. I would recommend Kristen to anyone needing legal assistance through a divorce, especially with children.

Father of 3 girls

Divorce is not easy, emotionally or financially, but in many cases, it is the necessary means to the end of an unsustainable situation. Looking back, as a father, seeking custody of three young girls, 6 and under, I can remember thinking just how much the odds seemed to be against me. Yet, here... I am, one year after my divorce was settled (thru trial) with zero regrets, as I was awarded everything I was seeking. When I share my story with those closest to me, and the results, the reaction is typically the same. What? How?!? And, that answer is quite simple. Kristen. Her support leading up to and during my trial was exceptional. There was no wasted effort, or time, on my part. She quickly could zero in on the matters that needed attention and eliminate those that weren't as important to the ultimate goal. This is not a small point, many attorneys could have taken advantage of my situation, and the opportunity for endless "billable" hours, but not once did I feel that was the case with Kristen. When it did come to trial, her knowledge of the law and attention/retention of the details of my case allowed her to handle, seemingly effortlessly, each and every curveball thrown her way. If you take nothing else away from my comments, single most important piece of advice I can offer is, seek out an attorney you can trust, absolutely. One that will do everything in their power to seek resolution as quickly and painlessly as our system will allow. However, most importantly, if you're faced with unreasonable opposition, and settlement isn't an option, you need someone capable of successfully seeing all aspects of your case thru to the end, even if that means going to trial. For this, you won't find better counsel then Kristen.

Kristen Amonette

I was completely satisfied with the guidance, representation and advice I received from Kristen. She was thorough, communicative and always had my best interests at heart. Her advice on issues relating to the long term costs associated with our child’s education and my obligations was well reasoned ...and, after some back and forth, accepted by his mother as fair and reasonable. She was patient and clear headed during the entire process. This was especially important given the lack of communication and questionable advice given by my spouse’s attorney. I would recommend Kristen without reservation,

Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission

I was recently released from Federal Prison after a 46 month sentence for wire fraud. I was offered a job to bartend, but the state of Tennessee denied my license to serve alcohol due to my conviction date for the wire fraud charges being less than four years. I retained Kristen to appeal my case b...efore the TABC board. She advised me and helped me get letters from the community and family. She returned my emails and calls in a timely manner and talked me out of my irrational thoughts. She advised me well on how the procedure would go and what to expect. At the hearing, she was professional and respectful if the opposing attorney. But, she was also firm and educated them in federal law. They tried to say my crime was embezzlement which carries an 8 year prohibition, and Kristen quickly recited federal laws and statutes proving otherwise. She was very knowledgable about my criminal case although she did not represent me in that case. The director of the boards agreed with her that my TABC license would help move me and my family forward in life and granted me the license. I am so happy and working full time now thanks to Kristen Amonette. Also, as a gay man, I look forward to using Kristen in the future when and if I ever find a partner to marry now that it is legal. I can not thank or say enough kind things about this sweet soul. THANK YOU Kristen for moving my life in the right direction!
