Extremely disorganized and inattentive, this lawyer took on my case without having time for it. She made empty promises, failed to file documents, and threatened to drop me when questioned. Communication was very poor, and my case saw no progress in six months despite significant costs. I felt taken ...advantage of during a very stressful period of my life. I wish I had paid more attention to the negative reviews. Avoid at all costs!

Please , please read these reviews! I look back now and wish I would have done my own due diligence. One of the biggest regrets I have is hiring her as a lawyer. She was unprepared, condescending to me and completely unprofessional. Again if I could give her a zero rating I would. Please don’t learn ...the hard way like I did ,especially during one of the most difficult periods in my life. Still to this day I regret hiring her… so many mistakes. Please keep on looking…!!!!

I don’t understand all of the raving reviews; these must be from her friends. I hired Trudy for a child custody case and nothing was accomplished. Trudy was very disorganized, would call me with no agenda (I assume she wanted to bill me?), would ask me to do things, and then when I did them, she acte...d like I was an idiot and was confused as to why I did the very thing she asked me to do. (She asked me to get letters of support from teachers, other parents, and the like. When I brought them to her, her response was, “This isn’t admissible in court”. ) Working with Trudy was very frustrating. She seemed confused often, was very disorganized, and at times her mood was labile. I felt if I asked her a question, she would respond condescendingly like I should know the law and tried to talk down to me. She would disappear, randomly send bills, then disappear again. She also rarely returned calls or emails. Furthermore, she would make political comments randomly. Perhaps we agreed, perhaps we didn’t, but bringing politics into my child custody case is unprofessional and irrelevant. I honestly think the legal world of Nashville is a popularity contest. She touts a Super Lawyer title, but that’s bought. I would not recommend Trudy to anyone. I moved to a different lawyer to handle my case as I do not have any faith that Trudy can get the job done.

My experience with Trudy was painful and total failure. She is very distracted and not focus. The majority of her work is reactive, impulsive and fragmented. It was clear to me that her ability to plan or strategies for my case is not to have one. She accommodated the opponent attorney on the cost ...of my best interest as a client. In the course of 3 months, Trudy did not advance my case in any meaningful or significant way to deserve over $3000.00 legal fees. I never felt that she was looking after my best interest or that my case was a priority to her. She requests meeting with no agendas or objectives.
