I retained Darren less than 24 hours before having to appear in court. Within that time, he met with me and spent the better part of a day talking to me, explaining what he planned to do, how he planned to do it, and prepared me for what I could expect to happen. There was no way to know the outcome ...until it was decided by the judge, but regardless of the outcome I truly felt like Darren gave me best chances of winning. On the day of court, He and I discussed the case once more before going in front of the judge. The odds were not exactly in my favor and I had almost come to grips with the notion that I might not get a favorable outcome. When it came time for Darren to his thing and argue the law, he did it beautifully. He advised me on how to handle opposing counsels tactics and what to expect so I wasn't caught off guard. He knew how to ask questions to A) get the facts, and B) keep things flowing, which in my opinion also kept the judge and court officials happy. After it was all over, the judge ruled in my favor for more than we anticipated. We didn't get everything we asked for but I still considered it a victory.
