I was appointed Habib Yazdi for one felony it was a couple loose xanax in my pocket. I've been prescribed said prescription for almost 10 yrs and gave a signed prescription record to Habib. when I asked if he showed it to the D.A. he said "That prescription was expired!" to which I said "No it's not...! It showed 6 months of records" I was also charged with a trespassing, because the girl I was with at the time has anger problems and I was living with her at the time! anyway when I came back to court for arraignment Habib showed up at the last minute very hastily said "come in this room and sign these papers!!!" to which I tried to say "but we never got to discuss about my case after several un-returned phone calls " I couldn't even get the word "but" out before he said "don't talk! Just sign the papers!" after several times of me trying to get a word in He says very loudly "I can rip these papers up right now and you can go in front of the grand jurry! Is that what you want?!!" so I said "no" and signed the papers. upon looking back I now see that I made a huge mistake! so the next day I emailed everyone I could think of of the huge unethical nature of my council and thankfully because one of the emails was to the mobile, Al Bar association I got a call from a woman who said that she is my new lawyer! so thankfully my judge the great and Honorable Michael must have seen my email and appointed me new council and my case has been reset!
