For as long as I can remember, I always wanted to be an attorney. When I got to college I changed my path to law enforcement even though I still wanted to be a lawyer. Now, I have been in law enforcement for 21 years. During my time as an officer, I was injured while attempting to arrest several felony suspects. While injured, I believed that I should pursue my passion for law. I went to law school, made excellent grades that got me scholarships to pursue my passion. I graduated, passed the bar and went to work with a law school friend. It's been the best decision in my life.
Shirley and I have a great practice in Alexandria, Calhoun County, Alabama. At Millwood Law Firm we are making a difference. Through law I have been able to help parents gain custody of their children, protected innocent people from bad situations, obtained divorces for people who never should have married in the first place and assisted persons in gaining order in their lives through the Courts. I love my job!
