Couldn't have asked for a better attorney

I was facing two felony drug charges. After hiring another attorney for my first, I was arrested again. I no longer had money to pay him for my new charge, so the court appointed me Mitchell Howie. The difference between Howie and my other attorney was enormous; Howie actually came and sat down wi...th me while I was in jail, took his time to get the details of my case, he worked with my family and got me a bed in a local rehab facility so I could get out of jail. My paid lawyer did not do any of this, I wish I would have hired Howie from the beginning. Throughout the next year, Howie kept me updated on my case by emailing me things such as the discovery, evidence, etc. He made my options clear and was able to get a much better offer from the prosecutor than my paid lawyer. I was looking at being a convicted felon on probation, but Howie was able to work with the DA's office and get me into Drug Court so that I will have a clean record. If I could do this over again I would have retained Howie from the beginning. I couldn't be more grateful for everything he's done for me.

Boom!

Attorney Mitchell J Howie represented me in my divorce after 20 years of marriage. He took the time to explain documents and/or what the court was requesting. I felt very comfortable with our interactions and communications to the point of sending a text when concerns popped in my head and Attorney ...Howie would respond right away. My ex-husband was not very agreeable and was offering settlements that wouldn't benefit me at all. Attorney Howie never pushed me to just accept what was being offered. Instead he asked me what I wanted and how I wanted to handle things then he worked hard to get my desires met. The divorce process took about 2 years and by then I was ready to just get it over with even if I lost out. Attorney Howie told me to relax and he would do the rest. As a result of his preparation, diligence and penmanship of our settlement offer. I was awarded everything I wanted and more! I actually was amazed at the things Attorney Howie asked for because I was focused on my current needs. However, he was focused on now and later which got me a pretty sweet settlement. Thank You! Now his service was costly but it was worth every penny and I am glad I hired him. If you are divorcing a military person then Attorney Mitchell Howie is the right attorney for you!!

My Rape 2nd case

Mr. Howie represented me in a case where I was charged with Rape in the 2nd degree for having consensual sex even though I thought the girl was 17. I am just 18 but was in danger of having to register as a sex offender for the rest of my life because I didn’t know how old the girl was! I thought it ...was wrong but I learned the law was really strict in this area. With the best attorney in Alabama, Mitchell J. Howie on my side I was able to get that charge dismissed with prejudice and not have to register and not have to go to jail. I am thankful for the best Huntsville criminal defense attorney Mitchell J. Howie for saving the rest of my life!!!
