This site makes you give him at least 1 star but he deserves none. He was unprepared and sassy and disrespectful to the court. Provide wrong information and does not prepare any defense. I was embarrassed to have him as an attorney. He is not well versed in criminal case law and won't admit it. DO NOT HIRE FOR CRIMINAL CASES.

I'm a soldier stationed overseas formerly married to another soldier here and we have 1 child together. When I wanted to file for divorce I called many other law firms in Alabama but I was told it couldn't be done just to wait till I go back to the states (who knows when that will be) or I needed to pay a consultation fee first before I got any information. One lawfirm even hung up on me.
When I called the The Malbrough Firm, I spoke to Trey Malbrough's paralegal Melinda. She was very kind and explained the process of getting divorced to me. She emailed me all the information needed from me and through email correspondence I was able to pay them and receive the documents that I needed to mail to them to file for divorce.
Even when I hit a snag in the child support amount with my ex, Trey called me personally and discussed how it is calculated and even offered to explain it to my husband at the time.
I was able to get the divorce in a timely manner and The Malbrough Firm made it incredibly easy for me. This was my first time ever needing a lawyer and I am glad I chose Trey Malbrough, I will definitely call him if I ever need a lawyer again.

In August 2015, my children's mother sued me through DHR for the child support. I had never been through anything like this before and had 10 days to retain an attorney and file a response.
Finding an attorney who was wiling to take my case on such short notice was proving difficult. I had called around and spoken to 6 or 8 other attorneys before I came to Trey Malbrough.
What impressed me immediately about Trey Malbrough was the way he took the time to listen to me, talking with me at length, and really getting to know the particulars of my case, as there were important details to be known. A lot of attorneys don't take the time to really listen to their clients, and hear the details that the client believes may be important. Trey Malbrough is a very good listener and shows his sincerity to help his clients by listening and taking the time to prepare the case to help his clients, and bring the best resolution within the confines of what the law permits. I felt very fairly treated, and I didn't feel like I was just another number waiting in line.
After the case was settled with arrearages assessed and monthly child support amount determined, the Child Support Office made a clerical error in their book keeping for my account. Trey Malbrough's office helped me get that straightened out as well.
In short, Trey Malbrough has proven the value of his work, has proven his sincerity in taking a personal vested interest in his clients and his client's cases, and has very well earned my confidence. I will be calling on Trey Malbrough again in the future for all of my legal needs that fall within his area of practice. You will be hard-pressed to ever find an attorney of Trey Malbrough's calibre, and I believe he is in a class by himself, right there at the very top.
John Flor, Criminal defense Attorney
Trey is a consummate professional. He does what he says will be done. He pays attention to detail and works hard towards obtaining winning results for clients. I had a client who was arrested in Birmingham for drug possession with intent. I knew Mr. Marlborough from law school and put the two in touch. Attorney Marlborough successfully argued a motion to suppress and got the case against my client dismissed.
