Mr. Armstrong graduated Cumberland School of Law at Samford Univerisity in 1988. Upon graduation, he began his practice with one of the oldest and most well established law firms in Birmingham, Alabama. He practiced for seven years in this firm's business litigation department. Thereafter, he founded a firm primarily devoted to representing small businesses and consumers.  Many of these clients suffered injury as a result of violations of employment and consumer protection laws.  In 1999, Mr. Armstrong joined a national law firm primarily representing plaintiffs in national class actions and multi-district litigation.

Mr. Armstrong continues to expand his employment law practice relating to wage and hour issues and other matters arising under the Fair Labor Standards Act. He also continues to focus on areas of consumer protection, including current pending class litigation for violations of multiple deceptive trade practices statutes.  The primary focus of this area of the practice is intended to protect individuals from fraud and deception. During his years of representing his clients, Mr. Armstrong has been involved in many multi-million dollar settlements and verdicts.

Very knowledgeable and professional
I do not know Mr. Armstrong personally, but I know that he cares enough about people to take time out of his busy day to answer questions in a clear, concise manner. A real asset to the community and with his years of experience, he is very knowledgeable about the law. If I had to hire an attorney, no doubt he would be very high on my list. He seems to be a nice, honest, caring professional. My opinion here is based on some email exchanges between he & I.

Super Star
To be honest, I hate lawyers. They have never done anything for me. You pay them and they get done nothing more than what you could have done yourself and in some cases do. Dealing with Allan though was a completely different experience. He knew I was in my last semester of college and that I didn't have much time to actually do any heavy lifting. He worked around my schedule and made sure I knew about appointments weeks in advance. He never made me feel bad about not being able to get him what he needed right away and went and worked on a different aspect of the case, patiently waiting for my response. He always made sure I was up to date on all the information. In the end he won my case, but he is not stopping there. He took that as there are more people who need his help and has been diligently working on their cases. I really can't say enough about him. He really is a super star!!

Consistently Right
I have had the opportunity to work with Mr. Armstrong on several occasions concerning different matters. The last one in particular was rather complex and frankly I did not see a clear path to resolution. Mr. Armstrong quickly came up with a strategy that not only was successful, it's results exceeded my expectations for a best case scenario outcome. Money well spent ... I will not hesitate to hire Mr. Armstrong again should the need arise.

Knows the Law and the Value of a Case
Armstrong represented my company in a federal court fraud case before a jury. We ended up with judgment just shy of $800K. Out of pocket loss and costs were slightly less than $200K. A good lawyer can make a mountain out a molehill and that's what happen here. We did not go cheap we went good and got the value of a real professional.

Seriously?
He ignored huge potions of what I posted and then asked me to provide information I had already clearly stated. He seemed more interested in acting as if he knew more than anyone else than he did in actually providing me with solid information. I was disgusted.
Response from Allan Armstrong September 19, 2022
I'm sorry you don't have a case. The message was convoluted and did not present any facts that would support a claim. If you have a wage and hour case, then take it to an experienced employment law attorney. You are obviously frustrated over the lack of employee rights. I wish you the best. I've never received a bad rating, only the highest because I try to delve into the guts of a case. You simply do not have a case with merits for an ADA case. You might possibly have an FLSA case, but I would not take the case based on your lack of understanding and appreciation of the law. I do wish you the best, but you obviously will have a hard time finding a lawyer because you do not listen. I would be glad to speak with you, and then I could potentially refer you to an attorney who might assist on the wage and hour issue. There does not, however, appear to be an ADA Claim for your friend, and she would have to pursue that herself. You may not understand, but you do not have standing to represent her or protect her rights. This is often a problem when someone tries to help someone else. You may not understand, but the courts do not allow you to protect someone else. I'll be glad to speak with you or your friend, but you need to understand the issues. I've done this for more than 35 years. I know the law. I'll be glad to assist.
