This was/is unquestionably the most trying time in my life ! I was pulled over in Houston for not using my turn signal while changing lanes and the next thing I knew I was Handcuffed and taken to the Harris County Jail. Ten days later I was shackled and placed in an un-air conditioned metal box and... driven 3 days to St. Lucie, Florida where I had never been in my life. I didn't have a bond until I arrived in St. Lucie and it was $50,000 on each charge for a total of $100,000 like I was some deranged homicidal maniac on 2 Bogus Charges stemming from false accusations . Needles to say that I was freaking out ! Mr. Gorman came and met me in the Jail and Immediately calmed my nerves and told me that he has arranged a Bond Reduction Hearing for the next day on a charge from 2011 that was 5 years old at the time of arrest. He was able to have my Bond reduced to a more reasonable price. Upon release and back home in Houston he said that there isn't a case and the Prosecution can not win this case and to be patient. After 2 years of completely disrupting my life the Prosecution finally Nolle Prosecui ! Mr. Jeff Gorman did EXACTLY what he said he was going to do and then did it at a VERY reasonable price. Brought past therapists, current support system and future plan to judge, thereby providing judge with good reason to keep client in county jail drug program fol...lowed by rehab, county supervision and probation instead of prison.
