Description: This lawsuit was initiated by the Plaintiff for repossession of personal property, conversion and quantum meriut. For this case TRI and TTI joined to form a joint plaintiff. TRIâ€™s main area of business was transporting waste water and hazardous materials. The officers and directors of TRI were James and Catherine Edinger. The defendant was the nephew of Catherine and James Edinger. The property in controversy included four loads of cargo located within a semi-tractor trailer. The cargo was valuable. Defendant locked the trailer on his land. Defendant was the Lessor of the land on which the Plaintiffâ€™s trailer was located. Plaintiff claimed they were entitled to possession of that trailer because they were the lawful title holder. The plaintiff maintained the trailer was wrongfully detained by the defendant. The plaintiff continued to pay the insurance on the vehicle. The plaintiffâ€™s Claim and the defendantâ€™s Answer were filed. In the end the parties filed a Joint Stipulation for Dismissal with Prejudice and amicably resolved the matters in controversy.
