Description: This lawsuit was initiated by the Plaintiff. The Plaintiff is a printing company with a wide range of products including window and floor graphics, banners, real estate and political stake signs and fine reproductions on canvas. The Defendant is a graphics service provider specializing in screen printing for various industries. The parties entered into a Non-Compete Agreement/Contract containing a Non-Solicitation Covenant. Contrary to the Non-Solicitation Agreement between the parties, the Defendant directly solicited Plaintiffâ€™s customer, PODS, Inc. The Plaintiff filed a civil action in the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit requesting injunctive relief. The Defendant denied all of the allegations in the lawsuit and filed a counterclaim. The Plaintiff established that it would be forced to lay-off fifty (50) percent of its employees in the event the injunction was not issued.
