Never returns call, never responds to emails, not aggressive all all, does not apply logic to situations and will call you asking for more money after you have exceeded your retainer with no notice. He tried this with me but thankfully I had an email from him stating that I had not yet exceeded hours and he would let me know when I did. I spoke to him maybe twice over a 3 month period and never received updates unless I asked multiple times. Now that I have lost my retainer, after Mr. Morris doing minimal work, I have no choice but to represent myself for the remaining duration of my case.

Doesn't return phone calls, regardless of urgency. Doesn't show up for appointments. "Office staff" is constantly turned over. One excuse after another. Hire him 14 months ago. To this point his work product consists of simply filing the dissolution forms. Hiring this man has been one of the worst mistakes of my life.

I hired Brian through my legal plan in October of 2015 to represent me in a civil litigation matter. My legal plan covers ALL costs except filing fees which Brian wanted up front prior to taking on the case. He charged me $450 up front for the filing fees and then basically vanished into thin air. I was never contacted by him or his office regarding my case after that. Over the next 8 months I had to repeatedly call their office to try to get an update on the progress of the case and I was only able to speak with a paralegal. This office seems to be in complete disarray with a high rate of turn over (no surprise there). Over the course of the 8 months I had 3-4 scheduled calls setup with Brian and he failed to show up for every single one of them. These were times that I had to rearrange my schedule to make room for and it all for nothing as he never showed or had the courtesy to contact me stating that he would not be able to make the meeting. When I called I was constantly told by the office when I called that my case was “being worked on" but absolutely nothing ever materialized and it doesn't appear that anything other than cashing my check was ever done. Finally, after the 8 months had passed it became clear that Brian was going to do nothing more than waste my time so I emailed him and fired him. I went from meeting with Brian and him agreeing to represent me against a contractor that did poor work at my home to having to deal with and try to track down Brian just as I had originally done with the very contractor I was requesting assistance with. Currently, Brian refuses to refund my $450 and I'm in the process of filing formal complaints with the NY and FLA state bar associations, getting a new attorney to pursue my contractor dispute AND pursue getting my money from him. In addition, I'm working with my legal plan to have him removed from their plan as a service provider. If you're looking for legal representation I would strongly urge and recommend you to look for another attorney. The unprofessionalism displayed by Brian has been astonishing.
