I was arrested for a DUI in November 2012, the DUI itself was unfouded and due to a Sheriff's Deputy who basically had it in for everyone... I hired AnneMarie Rizzo as my attorney and have to say I am extremely glad I did. As of today my case has been dropped. On my first meeting with Annemarie, she immediately put me at ease, explaining, that she felt confident I would not end up with a DUI conviction. The Prosecutor offered a lesser charge of Reckless Driving, which would not have shown up well on my yearly background check, for my chosen career. Anne Marie felt we had a good case, and I was determined to go through with a trial by Jury. I almost caved in at one point, not having seen Ms Rizzo in action, in the courtroom. She took the time to encourage me, showed empathy for my feelings ,and renewed my conviction, of the belief in myself. She used her extensive courtroom knowledge, as a former prosecutor herself, and experienced attorney, to fight passionately for me. She did her homework, left nothing to chance, tied up every loose end, and proved that she was much better prepared than the prosecution. Immediately before trial, she knocked out the prosecution's best witness, by proving he was not qualified for the testimony he was about to give. She also had at least one aspect of my Field Sobriety Test sequestered. Her defense was brilliant, eloquent, and professional.. She blew the other side away! The jury came back with the verdict:" Not Guilty !". I am so thankful to Annemarie, and also to her great team, who she made available to me, when she could not answer my questions immediately.. If you need representation in any driving offense, Annemarie is the one to have at your side. Five minutes in the courtroom with her, and I was convinced I had made the right choice...This women is an obviously respected adversary , yet shows only" Grace Under Fire!".
