In the costliest negotiation meeting of my life, Matthew Martell made absolutely no effort to improve the terms of my divorce settlement. He made not a single counteroffer. Only because I spoke up for myself in the meeting did I get a reduction in alimony. This does not fit the ABA's mandate to act w...ith "zeal in advocacy upon the client's behalf." After the meeting, he wanted me to give him a 5-rating. He raised his rates twice (over 14%) in less than nine months. But his bills had impressive details. Definitely would not hire.
