I was in Law Enforcement for 23 years and have seen numerous law firms perform in Criminal and Civil cases. DO NOT HIRE!!!! I hired Avard Law Firm to assist me in my SSDI appeal. The attorney who represented me in my hearing was excellent. HOWEVER, the staff is terrible. They do nothing. I had to get all my records and submit it to SSI myself because they didn't. Although, they kept saying they did. They n...ever call SSI for anything. I had to call SSI myself to request a hearing date. And after I won in my hearing, they washed their hands of me. They didn't want to answer any questions. BUT they sure snatched that $9,200 from my SSI back pay real quick. So if you want to do all the leg work and just pay almost $10 grand for an attorney to be in a 15 minute hearing with you, then you're in the right place with them.
