Hiring Douglas Spiegel was a dreadful mistake. He won't show up for you but he'll take your money and do nothing. Don't read the 5 star reviews he's paid people to write, read the 1 star reviews. You'll see the same thing over and over again... those are the true reviews. Read his disciplinary ac...tion with the Florida Bar what he did to that poor guy. I wasn't surprised to see what he had done at all. It took for him to land his client in jail to finally have the Bar discipline him. Better watch what your getting yourself into, read the 1 star reviews.

I first met Doug 4 years ago. He helped me with my divorce and did more for me than I honestly thought possible. I never once had to go to the courthouse, Doug handled everything! I hired him to assist with my divorce and he helped me through mediation meetings, endless discovery phase requests from the opposing lawyer and we managed to get things settled without having to go through court. I should have been more aggressive in my approach but I decided not to go that route ...so the outcome was more or less what I was hoping for but not to my lawyer’s doing.
