This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority.
This means an attorney lost his or her license to practice law for a period of time. The attorney typically returns to practicing law when the suspension expires.

> Stay far away from this lawyer! I hired him nine months ago for something very basic paid the 4K retainer and he hasn't done anything to help my case ! He stalls, makes excuses and lies to you . Tells you how great he will be upfront until he gets your retainer then sits on it , loves to argue with you . The reviews are bad for a reason! It took me another lawyer to help me get out of this overpriced mess. I will be going to the judge about him and will be filing a grievance and hopefully he will be disbarred. This man should not be practicing law he is arrogant berating, and over bills like crazy! $80.00 for a 10 second voicemail he left me . This was a very simple modification case in which he told me upfront that it would never go to trial because he such a great negotiator once he got my money he sat on it and build me an over billed me for every little made-up thing . Do not give him a chance you will be out tons of money and time and chances are you won't be happy with the results. People need to know about this man

Ted told me everything I wanted to hear but once I hired him, his bill was his only focus. He continued to charge during months nothing was planned, sighting "review" and "preparation," which I understand to a point but not thousands of dollars worth. His court side abilities were nothing short of average. He had no clue in knowing me and my case personally. Divorce court is pretty much laid out so if your looking for a specialized attorney I would not recommend Ted Weeks III.

This guy is just one of the worse people I have ever met. He is pompous to say the least and quite rash with his words... nonetheless, I would expect him to be a knowledgeable attorney. What I found is someone who has knowledge but is very lazy and too full of himself to focus on your case. If I said the sky was blue... he would get upset, say no it was storming so the sky wasn't blue. If you relent he'll continue the argument just to feel somehow superior to you.
In my divorce case he allowed a hearing without simple minimum mandatory disclosure. I lost my socks and still paying for it. Further, his billing is outrageously high. In just two months he billed over $7,000 and failed in resolving or addressing many of the key concerns. I feel like he's been around so long that he just "wings" it at hearings. If you point out a particular area you feel as though should have been managed better he'll quickly discredit your concerns. He's too much of a fighter and continuing to fight will only prolong your case, cost you a mountain of money and agitate the other party to a point where nothing... and I mean nothing gets done except a ton of phone calls and letters for which he'll bill. Do yourself a big favor... find someone else.
