Thankfully, I hired Rick while facing a DUI charge that would result in a lifetime revocation of my license due to multiple convictions. First off, Mr. Rivera was able to win the DMV admin hearing and secure my driving license regarding the mandatory suspension for refusal to submit to the breathalyzer. He then negotiated with the states attorney for the DUI charge to be reduced to a reckless driving, therefore saving my driving privileges and preserving my life.
Thank you Rick Rivera, you're the BEST!

Rick has been my lawyer for the last 15 years. He has protected my rights in a number of traffic citations, including a DUI case that I felt to be illegitimate. Rick has secured favorable outcomes in each and every case he has worked on for me. His knowledge of the nuances of the law, and his ability to effectively communicate with the relevant office holders and staff (particularly in Pinellas County) - make him the most valuable legal resource to have on your side when you are in the need of professional legal help to protect your rights.

I moved to Florida over a year and a half ago from upstate New York. Unfortunately Within months I was convicted of a dui. At the time I was holding an out of state "New York" license, and was charded witch failure to stay in lane, aswell as refusal to do a breathalyzer. Again, unfortunately months later I had another situation were I was charged with disorderly conduct. Within the first few days of the Dui I was very overwhelmed with who to hire as an attorney, especially not being from here. The deadline was ticking and time was going by very fast. I had someone recommend Kevin haysletts law firm so I went on a limb and called. Upon calling and setting up an appointment I was happy to hear how professional the office seemed just by a phone call. Once I finally came in to he office is when I was appointed to meet With Rick RIvera. Since that first meeting I was given his forever phone number, office number/fax. I called numerous times within the first few weeks. Probably due to being so nervous, even so he answered everytime and if not his secretary would have him call back as soon as he was free. I even would call when on weekends when he was not in the office and was able to get through. Once it came down to court and the pinellas county prosecutors not willing to lower anything for me is when we decided trial was the best option since I couldn't afford to lose my license. On the day of the trial I met rick at the courthouse. He showed up with multiple briefcases and whiteboards prepped and ready to beat the Florida justice system yet again. We had a long 12.5 hour day in trial. This is where rick was very prepped/professional allowing him with ease making the cop that was testifying look absolutely stupid calling him on numerous mistakes he made. All in all we beat the case and all charges where dropped. I would hands down recommend Rick Rivera to anyone who is in need of an attorney. I was blown away with his performance and every penny invested into his knowledge was well spent.
Thanks again Rick,

Hired Mr. Rivera to represent me and he did an absolutely incredible job. Not only did Rick provide me with his direct office number, but he also gave me his cell phone number and answered every time I called. Rick immediately got me out of jail once he was hired and was able to keep me out and help resolve my case. On my other pending charges, Rick was able to reduce the charges and withhold adjudication. I will make recommend Rick and his team to anyone I know that is seeking representation, and will use him again myself if necessary. I just wish I would've hired him for my initial DUI charge as I'm confident he would've reduced that as well.

Rick saved my career and in many ways saved my life. I am very grateful for everything he did for me through his representation. I would vehemently recommend anyone who needed an attorney or had a problem that they seek Rick's counsel. I don't have the words to describe how truly blessed I feel to know him.

I retained the services of Mr Rivera after breaking up an altercation between my wife and her sister resulted in my being charged with domestic battery against the sister in law.
Rick went to work right away and filed the appropriate motions and paperwork to have the judge review my case and order a No file and essentially saved my career and reputation. The firm was very good at communication and keeping me informed along the way in what was a very unsettling time for me and my family. The outcome was the best possible and god forbid I ever end up in need of a defense lawyer again, Rick will be my first call! Thank you

Rick is a great lawyer, we were able to meet for our first consultation within a few short days. Rick is honest and gets to the point, he knows his way around the courtroom and has plenty of experience. His prices are fair and everything he told me to expect was a matter of fact. I highly recommend Mr. Rivera for any legal advice. He's down to earth and a real people person, easy to talk to and an excellent listener as well.

Rick did exactly what he said he would do. He was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. He was always on time, and I was always able to go first in court with him representing me. He represented me for a DUI and was able to help me get it reduced to a reckless driving charge. He is very to the point, which I appreciated. I thought the cost was reasonable.

I was sitting in jail waiting for a federal marshal to come and deport me back to Canada, for a DUI charge and a possession of a controlled substance. I was facing 2 felony charges. When I say I was in jail, I mean I was in isolation or "on ice" as they put it. I could not speak to anyone. I was being treated as if I was guilty, without a trial or any legal advice. No one but my mom in MN, to help me. My mom contacted Mr. Rivera, and explained the situation. This was on the weekend by the way. My mom spoke with three different lawyers, but Rick was the only one who promised to physically go right down to the jail and find out what was going on. As promised, Rick showed up and had me out of there in less than 12 hours. He knew the law, and knew that what the system was trying to do to me was not legal. He stopped all of it immediately. The whole process took a year. Felony charges reduced, and possession was dropped. Rick was prepared to take this to trial, and almost had to, until the very end when the state offered a deal. This all happened because Rick Rivera knows the law, and does his homework. He leaves no stone untouched. That was my first case. I was charged again with DUI, and that case took three years, and did go to trial. Rick was there for every court hearing, and pre-trial functions. I did not have to be at any of them except the first, than again three years later for my trial. My life remained unchanged, because Rick Rivera took control and handled everything. He presented my case to the jury, and that jury found me not guilty. He again, did his homework. He had case files, and evidence that you really had to know what you were looking for, to know how to use. He used the state's own witnesses to prove my case. I know I would be sitting in jail or prison right now if it weren't for Rick Rivera. He stood by me through this whole process. He believed in me. I could never write the words that would adequately express the amount of gratitude that I feel. For me, there will never be another attorney. EVER!!
Thank you Rick Rivera, for saving my life.

Rick was great! He explained my case in lay man's terms and gave me info on all possible outcomes. Him and his staff were very easy to get a hold with even after my case was already done. He got me out of DUI charges and had them lowered. He was also able to do payments as I was tight on money. I would recommend him to anyone in a bind!!!
