Mark charges 300 dollars an hour. He doesn't seem to like a two way conversation. He would interrupt my conversational interjections. He went over things that are out of his area of expertise (psychological). He didn't seem to like being interrupted during his spiel. I believe he made suggestions that were unrealistic. He basically said that the school gets scared when they talk to an attorney. I advised him that the Pinellas County School have attorneys as well. Based on my consultation experience, it seems to me that he is not used to speaking to informed parents. After his long spiel (while paying $300) he finally got to the bottom line. $1500 retainer. He said that he has gotten parents $50,000 settlements. I said, "what if the school digs their heels in and doesn't comply with the ADA law, what would you do ? " "Would you take the case to court and be paid based on the winnings ?" Mark said he would need a retainer. Bottom line, my opinion is that he doesn't have the teeth to do what he says he can do. One person's opinion.

Mr. Kamleiter had up to date and specialized knowledge. He advised me well with how to navigate working with my school board to address my son's IEP needs. He was worth every penny!

I used Mr. Kamleiter for children's educational rights, you can't get anyone better at caring for the child and knowing the edcationa system. He handled my I.E.P. case and was great.
