Jim was incredibly helpful through all courses of my case. I'd assumed I could handle it on my own, but after my first day in court realized that certainly wasn't the case. So much for watching a lot of Law and Order, right? Everything from our initial consultation through the settlement with the... DA's office was as smooth as could be. He made himself available via phone, text, e-mail; I really got the feeling that he was actively working for me and I wasn't just a number. Even after everything was settled, I got what was basically a guided tour of what I needed to do; he came with me to pay fines, register with the clerk and explained everything every step of the way. He'd already done his job - and done it extremely well - but wasn't satisfied until he knew I was absolutely, comprehensively understanding of what was left of my case. Even today he spoke with me, though the case is over, just to answer a small question I had about documentation from the court and told me that if I needed anything to feel free to contact him. I'd like to say I'll never need him in the future, but if I ever do need an attorney, I know exactly who I'm going to call. I know this sounds like a commercial or something, but I'm honestly just surprised and a bit baffled that someone would work this hard for an issue (relatively speaking) this small when I know he's got to have a ton of other clients.

I have been down the traffic-court road far too many times (if you excuse the pun) and have had just as many lawyers. I am used to being ignored by most of them until ten seconds before walking up to podium to appeal to the judge. JAMES JENKINS IS NOT THAT KIND OF LAWYER. I was first amazed that he w...as the only lawyer that ever started our first conversation by giving me his personal cell phone number to call if needed him. He returned ALL of my calls (and even texts) promptly and I NEVER FELT RUSHED or talked down too. When it came time to represent me in court, his prolific negotiations turned my TWO TICKET case into a small fine I had to pay with no points or classes. Yes, I am aware that ALL cases are NOT the same but I do know that if Mr. Jenkins didn't have the knowledge that he had (i.e. the Judge's Track-Record, The Officers involved and the specifics of my case) things would have gone very poorly for me. Thanx to Jim, they did not and I highly recommended him to anyone who needs an attorney. I hope I never see him again (lol) but if I do happen to need an attorney again (please God I hope not) I will call Jim without hesitation.

My son received a ticket while he was home for a visit from USF for "out of state tag and plate." He had recently purchased a car from Utah and he paid for the tag and title there. He would get a Florida tag and plate when it came up for renewal. This is a Criminal offense which required him to go ...to court. The date he was to appear was approaching and he realized he had mid term tests all that day in Tallahassee, making it impossible for him to appear. We tried unsuccessfully multiple times to reschedule the court date. I called Jim Jenkins the day before his scheduled date, he met with me that afternoon . Jim appeared on my sons behalf the next day. Was I surprised when he called me and told me everything was ok AND we was able to get the prosecutor to drop the charges! Needless to say , I highly recommend Mr. Jenkins!!
