I am certified by the Florida Bar as an expert in intellectual property law and appellate practice.
The intellectual property side of my practice focuses on copyright, trademark and other intellectual property disputes. I enjoy the challenge of representing intellectual property owners and users alike, and am particularly experienced in representing photographers and others who are facing the unlicensed use of their copyrighted works and businesses facing trademark and service mark disputes. I've been quoted in publications such as the Tampa Tribune, St. Petersburg Times, Tampa Bay Business Journal, and Sarasota Herald Tribune.
The appellate side of my practice focuses on representing both appellants and appellees in the Florida District Courts of Appeal and Federal Circuit Courts of Appeals. I also assist my fellow attorneys in researching, writing, and preparing for appellate argument.

Dineen is the kind of attorney who’s always willing to take time out to help others. She cares. She’s knowledgeable and willing to share that knowledge with other attorneys. I imagine her clients benefit from that same care, compassion, and attention to detail.

Dineen Wasylik has extensive experience litigating intellectual property and copyright matters. In RIAA v. Verizon Internet Services, 351 F.3d 1229 (DC Cir. 2003), she helped stop record companies from obtaining private internet subscriber data without court permission, in a case heard by Judge John Roberts, who has since become the Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court. She is one of the few attorneys in the Tampa Bay area who have experience clerking for a federal appellate court, after clerking for federal appellate judge Susan Black of the Eleventh Circuit in Jacksonville. She is able to use that experience to understand how to best present a case to appellate and trial judges alike. Dineen has a keen insight into the legal issues arising in intellectual property cases, both well-settled and newly arisen, and her knowledge, experience, and dedication all serve her clients well.
