I am certified by the Florida Bar as an expert in intellectual property law and appellate practice.
The intellectual property side of my practice focuses on copyright, trademark and other intellectual property disputes. I enjoy the challenge of representing intellectual property owners and users alike, and am particularly experienced in representing photographers and others who are facing the unlicensed use of their copyrighted works and businesses facing trademark and service mark disputes. I've been quoted in publications such as the Tampa Tribune, St. Petersburg Times, Tampa Bay Business Journal, and Sarasota Herald Tribune.
The appellate side of my practice focuses on representing both appellants and appellees in the Florida District Courts of Appeal and Federal Circuit Courts of Appeals. I also assist my fellow attorneys in researching, writing, and preparing for appellate argument.
Admitted to practice before the United States Courts of Appeals for the First, Fourth, Ninth, Eleventh and District of Columbia Circuits.
Admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Middle District of Florida, Southern District of Florida, and District of Columbia.
I welcome contacts through Avvo, but please understand that there is no attorney-client relationship until we have a signed representation agreement.
