Divorce

During my 4 yearlong divorce and custody battle Mark was always available to answer questions it did not matter Day or night Emails usually got answered within about an hour. Mark will not make promises, but he knows the laws and tells you what to expect and that was exactly what happed every time. T...he hardest time of my life and having an attorney and his legal team on my side always made it easier. Debbie his para legal disserves as much credit as Mark she was always available to help with phone calls and discuss our next step. When my ex-wife hired 2 different attorneys that had very little knowledge and would file motions just to spend money Mark and Debbie would always be honest with me and tell me if it was worth fighting or just let it go, Thanks again for getting me through 2 appeals and winning both and lots of hearings that overall, I definitely know I came out on top.

Highly recommended

I found myself at a point in my life after counseling, therapy, and lots of prayers where divorce was the avenue for me to take. I hired an attorney and started the process to find out after tens of thousands of dollars and wasted time that I needed a different attorney. I began my research and de...cided I wanted to get the best representation possible regardless of how much it was going to cost. I spoke to retired judges, attorneys, and anyone who might know a bit about the divorce process. I was confident after research that Mark Sessums was my guy. Mark and his team were professional every step of the way. They showed complete loyalty to me and I truly felt his entire team was on my side. Mark and his team showed a personal interest in how I was doing through the entire process. All said and done my divorce was finalized effectively and efficiently. I spent far less on attorney fees than what the research indicated. I am usually not one to offer recommendations for people as people tend to surprise me daily but I would without doubt recommend Mark and his team, they are the best!

PHENOMENAL ATTORNEY!!!

I'm truly not one for leaving any reviews but, I have to say, Mr. Sessums and his staff are INCREDIBLE!! Last year Myself and two young daughters were in a car accident and was the most horrific experience we've ever been in. Following this accident I had retained an attorney and it became clear that... the dynamics of this case were going to be extremely complicated and at his discretion referred me to Mr. Sessums. From the first initial consultation I had with Mr. Sessums he had made me feel like there was a light at the end of this dark tunnel. His Paralegal Ms.Messenger was so pleasant and kept me updated every step of the way and left no grey areas for any questions especially, with her being so thorough. It was at our first initial hearing that I felt Mr. Sessums confidence and from that point I had No doubts that choosing him was the absolute best decision I had made. Mr. Sessums spent several hours on this case as well as personal time after hours/weekends calls, & emails answering and explaining any/all of my questions, NEVER made me feel like a burden with the complexity of this specific case. I'm beyond thankful for all Mr.Sessums and his staff did. The above and beyond, the dedication in a whole was phenomenal. I wasn't expecting anything close to the settlement that was received, but with their help it was significantly much more than imagined. It is now myself and my young daughters can close this chapter in our lives, although it doesn't make it go away, it makes a peace within that Justice was served appropriately, not to mention representation that gave it their entire all. Again, Thank you Mr.Sessums and Staff for just being absolutely wonderful.

Excellent Representation!!!

Prior to hiring Mark, I asked many around me who they recommended. The name that kept coming up in the conversations was Mark Sessums. I would ask them, "Why Mark?" They told me that he was one of the best in the area. The funny thing is that a couple people that I asked referred Mark over their own ...divorce attorney they had used or were currently using. It became clear to me on the day of mediation that I brought a gun to a knife battle. Mark came to the mediation prepared and knew the details of my case by memory. I recall the ex's attorney coming into the room to dispute a portion of the proposed settlement agreement and Mark clearly took charge of the conversation, stated case law, and disproved the other attorney's argument. It was clear to me by the end of the meeting that he was worth every cent. If you are looking for the least expensive attorney in the area, go elsewhere. I have always believed that "you get what you pay for." I was willing to pay extra to get the best.

Divorce/ Alimony

Was paying $1250.00 a month in alimony for the last 11 years, and as the economy failed so did my paycheck. we went to court after exwife filed a motion for contempt and my judge us unsympathetic to my situation and ignored the facts at hand in black and white and ruled on feelings. The judge then ru...led me pay purges of of $3000 twice in 5 months to stay out of jail. Mr. Sessums was fired up and said to me when we left the court chambers we have to file an appeal this obsured , We did so in the following weeks and was heard before the DCA about six weeks later at oral argument. and wow what an oral he presented to the courts, approx. 7 months later DCA ruled and they revervsed all the rulings of the local judge , my concept of what they said to him was DID YOU NOT READ THE FACTS JUDGE. DCA all affirmed the ruling and was sent back to the courts for further actions, We returned to court in about march of 2014 and the judge reduced my alimony to $ 1 dollar a year and the exwife had to pay 50% of my court costs. And the DCA now has this as case law DRIGGERS vs DRIGGERS. Can't thank Mr.Sessums enough, he has changed my life thru his efforts . IF YOU WANT AN AGRRESSIVE LAWYER HIRE SESSUMS LAW GROUP
