Steve Griffin @Griffin Trees Inc.

Very friendly, Obviously concerned with detail. Thorough, experienced, and highly recommended in multiple counties. My experiences were effective , successful , cost efficient , and pleasant. Numerous friends and associates of mine share my thoughts, with business issues as well as personal, that Mar...k has handled. A first class group. Mark's staff represents the same.

Post divorce case where fraud was involved regarding financial affadavits, properties, as well as other issues.

I think Mr. Sessums is very knowledgeable but I was a little disappointed when It came down to him taking my case after he said he would then did not. I believe it was because it was personal to him as he knew who the case was against. I think his curiosity in regards to the case made him want to re...view the case and get the information on it and then decided not to take it. It was going to be taken on a contingent basis he wanted 50 percent and then some other amount. Nevertheless he decided not to take the case and then I had to go out and waste time which it was important in my case to get it filed. Also he did have an advantage knowing the judges in the county it was filed. I do think he is a good lawyer but I had to go back out into the dark once again to research who would do the best job for me. I would say also he is a bit expensive. I ended up spending thirty seven thousand plus and it took a pretty long time. Which was hurtful in my case having to take longer to file and the attorneys were out of town lawyers and did not really know what I knew in regards to how this person I was suing truly operated as Mr. Sessums did and probably could read between the lines more than the attorneys from out of town. I would have faired much better with Mr. Sessums but he stated he did not have the time to do it after he agreed to take it. He felt that I did not have enough proof but sadly enough I retrieved all the records he would need and would be an asset to the case in the following weeks and he knew how to dig deep as he was familiar with this person in many ways. I was disappointed but I will say he is a fine attorney along with being a very nice young man.

Unfortunately, this was a case where the potential client thought that a critical witness would testify in a certain fashion. After I had indicated I would take the case in reliance on this expected testimony, the witness changed their expected testimony. As a result, I could not take the case on a contingency fee and the potential client was unable to pay us by the hour to handle the case. I am pleased that she was ultimately apparently able to obtain a positive result. Please note that the fees she said she paid were not paid to us. I all cases, I wish the intended client the best if we are unable to help. I initially agreed to take the case as I believed in the case and believed the intended client had been wronged by a powerful person. The reason was not and never is that "I don't have the time." I was very clear the reason for the switch in fee payment and again wish her well. Thank you.
