Disappointed!

No legal advice given during the free consultation. The free consultation referred to in this lawyer's promotions consists mainly of information about the structure of his attorney fees in the event he is retained by the prospective client, as well as, plenty of blame against the would-be client for... failing to retain a lawyer such as himself to begin with. Also, you have to fill out a consultation application and disclose your social security number; otherwise he will not see you.

This is an unfortunate misnomer in the legal realm, and for that I do apologize. The concept of a "free consultation" is ALWAYS intended to provide a free assessment of what services or remedies the lawyer can provide and the costs of same. In most other professions, the clients are changed for the office conference, to provide the same assessment and services. Unfortunately, many people erroneously assume that "free consultation" from private civil lawyers equals "free self help legal training" and are "disappointed" if they are not provided free education, training or information on how to fix their issues on their own if they choose not to hire a lawyer. No one would expect a plumber with a "free consultation" to provide free advice on how to fix a leak if a customer didn't want to to spend the money to hire a plumber, nor should one expect differently of any other professional. What they get is a free about what needs to be done and the cost. As to the notion of "blaming the client", there are many instances where we discuss HOW a client got into the position they are in, especially if it involves "self lawyering". While some people are offended at the notion of being told they made poor decisions, it is my view that as a lawyer, not as a cheerleader, that clients need to be provided an objective professional assessment of what role their decision making has had that lead to the need to end up hiring a lawyer to resolve the issue. While many lawyers pander to clients for retainers, and profit off what is often a self created victim mentality, my philosophy is that by candidly address such issues, clients will be better informed to avoid such mistakes in the future. Finally, the poster is correct, we do require proper and adequate identification of ALL clients, which does include social security number disclosure. Ironically, this is for various security reasons, of which one is to AVOID abuse of legal services to effect various ID theft scams, such where fake clients retain lawyers under false pretense for illegal means. What remains perplexing is that the very very few people that take issue with this seem oddly "ok" with that same information being in the hands of financial institutions, rental property management groups, insurance companies, and medical facilities where that same information is available to literally MILLIONS of strangers.

Outstandind Demonstration Of Patients By First Impressions Through Answering An Aggrevated Expressed Question On An Online Forum

I have never personally met Mr. Tischhauser, but I recognize him to be filled with confidence without any hint of intimidation of fear what he states as the facts. A persons strengths and powers are fully expressed when they chose to not act condescending towards others that are not as strong as they... are in whatever area of expertise that they excel. Yes, I guess you can say that Mr. Tischhauser is a hero in my eyes, saving me from a great deal of life's added mental anguishes. He skillfully and quickly by his direct and honest expressions removed and extinguished the lit fuse that I had for concerns for a harassing related experience that I had. He clearly and plainly using layman's terms directed me that my issue was not practical beyond being an ego boosting of my personal character and fighting for my rights expensive scenario, which would only lead to a financial burden to me and a case that most attorneys would shy away from or avoid to take due to the amount of stress and emotions that were involved with the concerns that I had related over the online forum where I had presented my concerns. I really do appreciate the honest splash of cold water on my face that sobered up my blinded by anger ideas. Your invested time, patience and honest expressions insures my willing investment of full trust in your skilled legal counseling and directions; to share this experience with others. Thank you Mr. Tischhauser for your general public contribution and for making me feel proud as a prior served veteran service member of our strong and great nation!

Scary Bark. DEVASTATING BITE!!!

I was sued by my landlord for eviction. Not only did Mark keep me in my rental house for more than a year after the eviction notice was posted, but Mark also negotiated a settlement for me of over $10,000.00 (which I received very quickly). Plus, my landlord had to pay for all of my attorney fees. Qu...estion: What is the difference between Mark Tischhauser, Attorney at Law and a Pit Bull? Answer: Mark knows exactly when to bark and exactly when to BITE. And God HELP the person who he BITES!!!

Honest, Fair, Takes time to give you all the options

Although I was initially taken back by his approach, he gave it to me straight and this let me know how to handle the problem and told me the odds and how much I could pay. I value honesty more than wasting money on someone that will not help. You can use this guy.

Now this is a REAL ATTORNEY!!

I consulted with Mr. Tischhauser via phone regarding an auto accident/personal injury problem after firing an attorney for poor representation. He intensely listened and gave me facts about my case (problem) without any b.s. mixed in. He appears to be very well versed in legal issues and the fine det...ails of such. He articulates very precisely so there is no misunderstanding of what is said or meant by his words. He is not your momma, big brother or a friend that you can pull the wool over their eyes and leave out important details (no matter how small you think they are). He is a professional attorney that can actually immediately spot problems, potential problems, omissions and the merit of your case. He spoke with me for over 40 minutes, free of charge and was superb! I wish I could give him a 10! When I am able to get enough for a retainer, he is the attorney for me. He is not the 1st lawyer I've ever dealt with, but he is the BEST!
