This law firm has been representing me in my mortgage foreclosure case for almost 3 yrs now. Today was my trial and there were three attorneys there: Scott Stamatakis, Sami Thalji and Nick Fowler. The judge ordered a continuance but they were there to fight my case with some great arguments. Their fees are super reasonable. I paid $500 up front and pay $30 a month. You can hire some high priced attorneys, but these guys are just as good. Since you don't make payments while in foreclosure then at very least you can save some money!!

Great attorney and very reasonable fees
Mr. Stamatakis is not personally handling my foreclosure but someone in his firm. I am so far very happy with my attorney and Mr. Stamatakis oversees all the attorneys. At any time I can call and arrange a telephone conference with Mr. Stamatakis for a small fee and can discuss my case or other legal matters with him. His fee is very -very reasonable. Mr. Stamatakis has many years of experience defending foreclosure suits. He is also straight forward and will tell you whats going on with your case and will not sugar coat it. Great attorney and I highly recommend him.

Minimal work
I found this law firm online and went to their offices for a foreclosure consultation. Lots of promises and representations made about client service and satisfaction, so I hired the firm. Over the course of the following year, that was unfortunately not my experience. Calls would go answered for days, no one ever seemed to know what was happening with my case, and Nick's basic attitude was to just roll with the inevitable foreclosure of the home. If you are looking for legal representation to just perform the minimal amount of work required and looking to ride a free place to live for as long as you can, then this is probably a good choice as I cannot argue about their pricing. However, if you feel you have actually been wronged by the bank, have the docs to prove it, and are looking to actually win your foreclosure suit, this is not the firm to engage. I unfortunately ended up moving my business to another law firm.

DID NOT REPRESENT CORRECTLY FOR FORCLOSEURE> I Had all documentation to fight forclosure, but all he wanted to do was draft my bank account and send the mortgage company on a wild goose chase. Had to fix the issue myself. I had the documentation I paid the mortgage. He totally ignored it.

I am sad to hear that this unidentified client feels he or she was not represented adequately. I have never heard of such a complaint with our offices. However, I assure you that if this client had paid as stated, our offices would have been more than happy to take the client's proof and win in court, because the cases in which a borrower has timely and fully paid each month are very easy cases to win in court, and the victory would generally bring with it an order from the judge that the bank pay all of our offices attorney's fees and costs for winning the client's case. So again, our offices absolutely want payment cases and we keep a keen eye open for them, and would not turn away from one of these cases, especially if brought to our knowledge. I have been involved in thousands of mortgage foreclosure law suits and what I see happen very often is that the client thinks that they paid timely and in full each month, but their records do not support this position. It may because they may not have paid, taxes, insurance, etc., or maybe they even made partial or late payments at times, which is real close to making all the payments in full and on time. However, being close in a payment defense is not enough in the eyes of the law, I'm ok with being close, but in court, being close generally is not not a winning case, sorry. Just my thoughts, Scott Stamatakis.
