Would certainly return or recommend Befeler Law Firm

We hired David to assist us with pending foreclosure and lien on a personal property. He was responsive, took the time to help us understand the situation and what the best course of action would be. I work full time during the week and David went out of his way to work around my availability when we... needed to communicate. He is very capable, professional, and also personable, which makes it easier to navigate a difficult and sensitive case such as ours. Should I find myself in a situation where I either need to hire a lawyer again, or need to recommend a lawyer to anyone, it will be David/Befeler Law Firm.

Dispute over Selling of Home

We needed a lawyer to help settle a dispute between my ex-wife and myself, over selling the house still jointly owned. The ex-wife was being unreasonable and we felt legal representation was required. David was referred to us through the Hillsborough County Bar Assoc., after checking reviews and an ...initial consultation, it was obvious David was an excellent choice. David guided us through all the possible options available to us and the pros and cons of each. David was also sure to give detailed estimates as to the cost of each option. After working together to formulate the best plan for us, David was there every step of the way to provide insight as the process continued to move forward, and to keep us on course as obstacles presented themselves. When it became apparent mediation was the next course of action, David provided us with a list of very competent mediators for us to choose from, the mediator we chose exceeded our expectations. David coordinated with the other party and provided invaluable guidance throughout the mediation process. After coming to a very favorable agreement at mediation, and all documents were signed, David had officially completed the work that we had hired him to do. However, David kept in touch following up to ensure all of the agreed actions were taken care of or were in motion before closing our file. Without David's help, our issue could have gone on for months unresolved and could have become very costly for us. Thank you again David, we couldn’t have done it without you!

Landlord Dispute

Our organization hired Mr. Befeler to represent us in a contract dispute with a landlord. Mr. Befeler reviewed the rental agreement documents that we presented and then recommended a course of action that within a matter of weeks resolved a problem that had drug on for many months. Mr. Befeler kept... us informed every step of the way and was always available for consultation. Our organization would certainly recommend Mr. Befeler and plan to retain him again should the need arise.

THE MAN

After finding out that our prior law firm working a housing case for us had not been doing their job and completely keep us in the dark on what was going on. We reached out to the Florida Bar Association and were put in contact with David Befeler. From the first day we spoke to him we have seen a com...plete difference in his approach than our prior law firm. He was upfront and honest with his intentions on how to handle the case. He has also kept us in the loop and well informed on the case weekly. He treats us as if we are part of his family and gives us complete confidence in his ability to help us resolve this housing issue. David is very professional and on top of his game. Mr Befeler gives lawyers a good name

I found myself in need of legal representation on an issue with an uncooperative homeowner's association in FL. I reached out to the local BAR association who gave me Mr Befeler's name. During initial phone consultation, I found him to be extremely helpful. He listened to every detail of my case ...and provided immediate feedback. He was very professional in his answers and tone. I had talked to another attorney before who was very dismissive of my situation so it was a relief to have Mr Befeler understand the stress the case had taken on me. He was sympathetic. I hired Mr Befeler at the end of that conversation and he went to work right away, finding out all the information about my case and reaching out to the HOA's attorney (who had not been very receptive to talking with me). It took a lot of insistence on Mr Befeler's part to get through that attorney but he did. After some back and forth, we reached a settlement that I was happy with and papers were drawn. Throughout the entire ordeal, Mr Befeler always made himself available to me. Not once did I need to speak with him that he would not call me back right away or email me with the information requested. Communication is one of this strongest skills (besides his friendly personality). I think this is key in resolving disputes. Thank you Mr Befeler.
