Highly Recommend!
Mindi Lasley was highly recommended to me and she more than fulfilled all my expectations. I was helping a young friend with her case against the man with whom she has a child. Mindi was extremely patient. She went above and beyond again and again - even advising us long after the case was closed...

Answered Prayer
Mindi, Yanna and Gloria were the answer to my prayers. Divorce is already a frustrating and painful process, and having to deal with lawyers who don’t return calls or emails or just don’t care, can make it worse. My divorce lasted 2.5 years and Mindi was the 3rd lawyer on my case. When I wasn’t gett...

Best in Tampa
I hired my first attorney and fired him due to his lack of progress on the case. I found Mindi and she immediately fixed all his mistakes. She listened and actually cared about my family and the case. It's very hard to find a lawyer that cares about the client and not the money.

Great lawyer, great staff
In July 2015, I was served a supplemental petition to modify final judgement by my ex-wife. This marked the third time she had served me since 2010. As one would expect, I have become pretty familiar with the family court system, so I had a good idea of the type of lawyer I wanted to retain. After...

Poor representation
I found Mindi on this site, and believe I would be doing other AVVO users an injustice if I were to not recount my experience with this attorney. My experience with Mindi started around AUG of 2013. My divorce would not be finalized until APR of 2014. In my opinion; she continually pushed to tak...
I’m dismayed to learn that a former client was dissatisfied with my representation, especially learning that this occurred in 2013 and is just now being brought to my attention. Without commenting on any particular case, there are no legal “loopholes” that allow for any child to be relocated. In any case, pursuant to Chapter 61.13001, Florida Statutes, either parent may petition the court at any time to relocate with the minor child(ren). This is regardless of how an initial divorce or custody arrangement is settled or how judge decides a case. Perceptions of the facts can often be colored in highly emotional cases, which is particularly the case in family law. It is also important to realize that not all cases are the same—the result your friend or co-worker may have reached may not be the same result you will agree upon in mediation, or may not be the same result a judge would decide. Furthermore, there is no “norm” in a particular county—every cases is judged differently as every case and every family is unique and circumstances vary widely. I should also note that I discuss with my clients at great length their option to go to trial or to settle at mediation and although I can advise clients and recommend trial if I believe it is in the client’s best interests, the client is the ultimate decision maker. I’m always very prepared and strive to provide my clients outstanding representation, in the most cost-effective manner for a given circumstance. I encourage everyone to read the many positive reviews I have received, and to feel free to contact me for more information about the compassionate and aggressive counsel I provide my clients.
