About me


Anne-Leigh Moe is an experienced trial attorney whose practice focuses on civil litigation involving contract and employment disputes, professional liability, medical negligence, and construction law. She represents corporate and individual clients in both state and federal court and regularly acts as local counsel to non-resident firms in matters pending before the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Recognitions, Associations and Professional Activities
Ms. Moe is active in the Tampa Bay Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, where she serves as Secretary and has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2008.  She was appointed to the Florida Bar's Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee in 2012 and is a former co-chair of the Hillsborough County Bar Association's Committee on Professionalism and Ethics. 


Ms. Moe has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America in the field of commercial litigation.  Florida Trend has named her as one of Florida's "Up and Coming Legal Elite" in 2010, 2011, and 2012.  She was also recognized as a "Rising Star" by Florida Super Lawyers magazine in 2009, 2010 2011, and 2012. 


She is a former law clerk to the Honorable Virginia M. Hernandez Covington, United States District Judge, United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.  She was Editor-in-Chief of the Arizona State Law Journal and authored the Legal Ethics section of the 2004-2005 Arizona Supreme Court Review. 37 Ariz. St. L.J. 93 (2005).  While in law school, Ms. Moe interned for the Honorable Kenneth B. Bell of the Florida Supreme Court and the Honorable Jeffery Hotham, Maricopa County Superior Court. 


Ms. Moe is a member of the American Bar Association and the Hillsborough Association of Women Lawyers.  She is a past member of the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center's Best of Tampa Bay Committee and is a 2011 graduate of the Tampa Connection.   

Ms. Moe was born in Miami, Florida and raised in Lutz, Florida.
