I bring a unique perspective to the practice of elder and disability law, with over fifteen years experience as a clinical social worker working with disabled, frail and elderly individuals and their families in community, hospital and long-term care settings. Prior to earning my Juris Doctor from the Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University, I was awarded my Bachelor of Arts degree from Clark University and my M.S.W degree from Columbia University School of Social Work.
My experience working with diverse vulnerable populations has prepared me for the unique blend of social, familial, financial and medical circumstances that accompanies every client. I complete a comprehensive assessment of each individual before working collaboratively with my client, the client's family members, and applicable service providers to develop a customized plan that is practical, realistic and appropriate for the client and the client's family.
