Eight years ago, I hired Richard Springer for my brother. Not only does Richard Springer financially gauge his clients, he is all over the place with his showmanship talk and not listening to details. As a result of Richard Springer's sloppy work and disregard of the end result, my brother left us. He went through 8 years of trying to right a wrong. Maybe he would have had a second chance if Richard Springer spent a bit of his time on his client.

Richard will arrogantly dismiss the information that you, the client, has about your own case. He smugly claims that he has everything under control, that it is a part of his "show." But he doesn't do his homework, doesn't learn the facts of the case, and raises technical arguments from his old cases but ignores any issue that would require him to actually prepare a new case. For all of this he charges more money than almost anyone else to handle a dui case. While I was told Richard is a great attorney, I have learned that is not true. It might have been true once, but it is not true now. Richard is a sloppy lawyer that even the prosecutor made fun of when Richard left the courtroom. If Richard is your lawyer, fire him and hire someone else. If you are thinking about hiring Richard, don't.

This lawyer knows the law and has plenty of experience however he only wants to take your money. He charged me 2 X the going rate on a DUI. He behaved as if there was some chance I could be acquitted but in the end I went to jail for violation of probation. I hired a second lawyer to get me on house arrest so I only was jailed for one week. Horrible experience. Also charged me to attempt to get driving privileges ($7500) when DMV will not budge on second refusal to blow in breathalyzer.
