My entire career as a lawyer has been dedicated to the practice of Immigration Law.  In 2002, I became Board Certified in Immigration and Nationality Law by The Florida Bar.  I am only one of approximately 70 lawyers in Florida with that designation.  I represent clients in jurisdictions all over the country and can practice immigration law in any state.  I handle all types of immigration cases such as family petitions, deportation and removal defense, naturalization, business immigration cases such as E, L, H and O visas, labor certifications, investor, student  and religious visas.  I have filed successful battered spouse cases for both male and female victims of domestic violence as well as U visa cases.  I have sued the government in federal court and I have been recognized as an expert witness in state court on immigration issues.  I have been extremely active in the South Florida Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).  I have held numerous postions on their Board and was honored to serve as Chapter President from May 2007 to May 2008.  I won't do anything illegal or unethical (so don't ask) but I am aggressive and committed to giving you the highest quality representation available.  If I can be of service to you please feel free to call me at.

The Best There Is
I was referred to Scott through a family friend that had great success with their immigration case. My mother had gotten her residency denied due to some complications from a third party. Scott said this would be a simple process with a lot of waiting which was out of his control. A little over a year now and my mother is not a permanent legal resident. Scott was always quick about communicating with us and answering any questions we have. Scott is a great friendly person and I would see hire him a million times over if I needed to!

Best Immigration lawyer
There is not another immigration lawyer that is as good or knowledgeable as Scott Devore! His vast experience and knowledge about immigration law and the process makes it so much easier for his clients. He is also very responsive and thorough - which is very important- we were able to work through all the steps efficiently to get my husband’s green card as quickly as possible. He has a way of breaking things down so it is easy to follow and anticipated all our questions so we were prepared along the way. His reputation is stellar in this field , he came highly recommended and we were so appreciative of the expertise with which he handled our case.

As good as it gets
Scott was my attorney for 21 years (yes that is how long it took to process my case). He is very knowledgeable, knows immigration law in and out and if there is one person that can help with a very difficult situation it is definitely Scott. After 2 decades, he has earned my gratitude and brought my case to a positive outcome. He has spent a significant amount of time responding to immigration and immigration courts. He flew from his home office in Florida to meet me in Cleveland for my court date twice. Once in 2010 for the initial hearing and the second for the final hearing in 2020. He even flew 1 day from Florida to Cleveland to hand deliver my file to make sure it gets there on time. You will not find a more dedicated and helpful attorney anywhere else.

Attorney that you can rely on
i guess my case is beginner's luck. I was looking for someone who could help me about my wife's immigration process and his name popped up first in my search. I've heard a lot of negative things when it comes to attorney services, but he changed my perspective with his honestly, knowledge and wisdom. All i can say, he definitely know his stuffs. Best in Class - Always Accessible
Immigration is never easy. Scott has helped me through a very tough time in my life with the utmost professionalism, all whilst making me feel like a friend and calming my nerves - he truly cared about my case and it was evidenced by the way he handled it and his attention to detail. I didn't feel like I was just a file on his desk. Scott has handled all necessary paperwork in the quickest manner and never took more than 30 minutes to respond to an email or a text from me - he has been truly accessible throughout my case and was always on top of things. I could not have done it myself and Scott was absolutely instrumental to my immigration case. Honest attorney’s do exist !!!!
I’ve been working with Scott for almost 2 years and it’s difficult to find honest people anywhere in the world most just take you’re money and you don’t get much of a result. He is super efficient very meticulous and pays attention to details, things otherwise I would have overlooked and other attorneys I know wouldn’t bother to take there time on. He does ask a bit more, but the good things as we all know in life never come cheap!! Anyone who is looking for someone to go to bat for them this is you’re man !!! I love you Scott you are the best!!!!

Scott Devord Always available for any questions we have about our case , Best lawyer highly recommended We also filled a case for my father with Scott After we have been used a differend lawyer that he made so many mistakes at my father case my father lost is passport with his visa so he didn’t got the approval for his green card after a meeting with Scott he give us the answer for that case and we was using Scott to filled the case for us , after 4/5 months my father got is green card ! BEST LAWYER IN FLORIDA
Mr.Scott is the best lawyer i have ever met, He is responsive, patient,honest,awesome and knowledgeable, which you need for your immigration lawyer. there were several changes in immigration policy by the government and that made me nervous because they were new rules and less information was available. Scott, however clearly explained to me and answered all my questions promptly and saved my life. Legal fee is not too bad if you wanted to have a solid legal service on your immigration matters. As I mentioned the above, you never know when the immigration policy changes depending on the administration. You need a lawyer who is experienced and knows entire course of the process of your application, not just fills out and submit an application. I'll definitely ask for his help if I have immigration issues in the future, and reccomend him to those who look for an immigration lawyer. Thank you very much, I very much appreciate it!

The best lawyer I ever had
If you want someone who knows his staff and who will get back to you in a few minutes even it is Sunday this is your man . I hired Scott for E1 visa changing to married sponsored visa and he was so knowledgeable, he knew what he was doing , he knew immigration people in West Palm Beach , he was calm , ensuring , and made sure I get calmer in this very for me stressful situation. i am so grateful to Scott for all he has done for us . If it wasn’t for him I don’t think I would have had my American dream. I highly recommend Scott if you want to have fair, confident , and easily accessible lawyer who knows what he is doing .
