Fantastic Attorney

I hired Leah Mayersohn to help me with a federal criminal case. She did an amazing job and was able to ensure that I wasn't indicted.

Attorney

Ms. Mayersohn is a skilled and knowledgeable attorney as well as being compassionate and kind. Her staff is also very knowledgeable and helpful. You can reach Ms. Mayersohn 24/7 which is important if a situation develops where you need help immediately. I have had a relationship with her and her fir...m for over 4 years and she has always reassured me during my divorce.

Extremely helpful, knowledgeable and responsive.

I ran into difficulty with a friend, who informed me by text that he was in some trouble and expected to be arrested. The friend then disappeared and I was left worried about what might have happened. I contacted Leah Mayersohn on a weekend and she responded immediately. Within several hours Leah ...carried out an extensive search and was able to confirm that my friend had not been arrested. Further she was helpful in suggesting other actions we might take to locate my friend. Leah stayed in touch with me until my friend was located several days later. If I or a friend run into any future difficulties, I would contact Leah again, and I can unreservedly recommend her.

Phenomenal attorney

There are many Law Firms out there but the question should be is there a Law Firm that would be right for me? The answer lies with The Mayersohn Law Group. When challenges are presented that can define or change someone's life that's where you'll find confidence and trust with this distinguished l...aw group. From a personal experience, I can honestly tell you that at times, I feel like I'm not discussing important matters with an attorney but rather a family member. Leah has always been there for me whenever I needed her assistance and I always would find solace knowing that she is on my side. During my time of adversity, I felt safe knowing that I not only had a competent lawyer on my side but also a person who at times I feel like treats me like a family member. Leah takes each and every matter seriously and with pride. I have witnessed her amazing work since the first day I set foot in her office not knowing what to expect. If there was a weakness in Leah then it would be the fact that she personally cares too much about her client. Leah has a proven phenomenal track record and don't take my word for it but take the first step in setting up a consultation with her and then experience it for yourself.

Seek alternative counsel. Abhorrent behavior by Leah Mayersohn. This is the post Leah does not want you to see.

March 29, 2024: Four associates of Leah Mayersohn’s law firm resigned abruptly. There was no communication from Leah Mayersohn regarding their departure. The discovery of their departure was made when an email sent to one of the staff bounced back. March 30, 2024: In response to the sudden exit of... associates and to ensure the continuity of legal representation for an active case, a transfer of retainer agreement was signed, directing future communications and the retainer balance to my new counsel. This is a practice which is both legal and supported by The Florida Bar to ensure client outcomes are the number one priority. April 4, 2024: Attempts were made to communicate with Leah Mayersohn, requesting the transfer of retainer funds to the new legal representation and to provide a copy of the case file. The communications included a formal request, followed by several emails reiterating the demand and indicating the potential for legal action if the requests were not honored. April 5, 2024: A formal demand letter was sent to Leah Mayersohn, insisting on the immediate transfer of the retainer funds and compensation for damages incurred due to the firm’s failure to act. This letter specified the total damages amounting to $10,300.00 and indicated that a complaint had been filed with The Florida Bar April 8, 2024: Despite the 48-hour time limit set to receive an indication of compliance for my demand of the transfer of the retainer, Leah Mayersohn has failed to respond to the demands. This continued inaction demonstrates a lack of professionalism. Confirmation of Leah Mayersohn's awareness of these demands has been established through a conversation with a member of her staff, yet no action has been taken to address or resolve the demands. April 15, 2024: Ms. Mayersohn contested this posting on Avvo, attempting to have it removed. This action suggests a desire to keep my review from public visibility. April 16, 2024: Despite repeated requests and a formal demand for the transfer of my retainer funds and case file, Leah Mayersohn has remained conspicuously silent. This disregard for essential client communications starkly undermines her commitment to professional ethics. In response to her failure to act, I have escalated the matter by filing a formal complaint with The Florida Bar to seek a resolution and uphold the standards of accountability required in legal practice.
