About me

I practice construction law throughout Florida.  I represent general contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, developers, associations, suppliers, sureties, and owners in a myriad of construction matters including, without limitation, construction/design defect claims, schedule-based claims (including inefficiency, lost productivity, and acceleration claims), bid protests, payment disputes, lien and bond claims, liability and property insurance issues, and a host of other issues that affect the construction industry. I prepare and negotiate construction contracts for clients utilizing AIA, EJCDC, and ConsensusDocs industry form documents, as well as contracts that are not based on an industry form document.

I also blog about all aspects of construction law and government contracting at www.floridaconstructionlegalupdates.com and issues pertaining to Florida appellate, evidentiary, and trial perspectives at www.provemyfloridacase.com.  Check it out!

I have had the pleasure of working with David on two matters. He consulted with me on construction issues my clients were dealing with and helped me obtain positive results in both matters. He knows his stuff !

Mr. Adelstein and I attended law school together. He has an excellent command of the law and analytical skills to match. Though I have only had to face him on the other side of a case on one occasion, he certainly demonstrated himself to be a worthy adversary and a masterful tactician. He has also earned a reputation for demonstrating the upmost professionalism and ethical standards while zealously advocating on behalf of his clients. I highly endorse this attorney.
