I have the privilege of sharing office space with Cindy Vova. Cindy was kind enough to serve as my mentor and allow me to observe mediations which were required for my certification. As a mediator, Cindy was pragmatic, reasonable, knowledgeable, and brought a certain amount of levity to the process... (when appropriate) which served to encourage the parties to settle - - which, by the way, all settled successfully. The lawyers involved in the cases seemed to be pleased with the way Cindy handled the mediations. In addition, I retained Penny Miller, Cindy's associate to handle a personal legal matter. I am more than satisfied with the way this matter is being handled and truly enjoy the camaraderie of working with both Cindy and Penny. I would highly recommend Cindy as a lawyer or mediator. Cindy Vova was a terrific guide through a horrific ordeal, and I highly recommend her. She has great knowledge of the legal system & Broward courts, a wonderful ability to work with all types of people no matter how difficult, and had the patience to keep me on task when pulling together old documen...ts and financial information was the last thing I felt like doing. My husband of 23 years unexpectedly filed for divorce in the middle of a family medical crisis and proceeded to be as mean and vindictive as possible, including hiring a second attorney when the first wasn’t aggressive enough. I chose Cindy because of the many testimonials indicating she helped people remain friends with their exes. But when the going got tough, Cindy was a real fighter. My case was not easy, to say the least. I have utmost respect for Cindy, whose demeanor before our judge was impeccable. Her associates and her entire office staff were all very helpful and easily reachable when needed. Cindy was also extremely knowledgeable when it came to selecting a forensic accountant, a mediator, and a labor expert. And she was very concerned about the wellbeing of my son, which I greatly appreciated. In the end, although divorce is not what I wanted, Cindy Vova’s expertise resulted in a favorable outcome.
