Daniel Arthur Callahan

Dan represented me for a minor misdemeanor for an expired tag several years back. I was definitely not one of his bigger cases, but he treated me like I was. He got the case dismissed at arraignment. Just wanted to thank him. Thanks buddy.

I am satisfied with the legal council I had with Dan Callahan. Upon our first meeting in the detention facility he was quickly able to recognize and appreciate that I was mentally unstable. With this knowledge he ordered doctors to evaluate me and I ultimately ended up in a courtroom which seeks rehabilitation and treatment for mentally ill individuals. Dan explained to the judge that I was just obsessive-compulsive rather than a person with actual violent intentions and this is important for the judge and prosecutor to grasp and it was indeed true in my case. He was also very informative in letting me know my possible sentencing outcomes, the facts and the details of my case, he went over alleged evidence with me and let me know how much points I accumulated in reference to the Florida Criminal Punishment Codes. Daniel Callahan knows what he is doing. He knows what is right and seeks justice. I was facing a mandatory prison sentence but he filed a motion for downward departure which was granted because of my mental illness and the fact that I was willing and ameniable to treatment AND that I showed progress in the inpatient/outpatient program as well as in house arrest. All in all, it was a pleasure being one of his clients because he understood my mind and my logic. He believed that I was not a bad person and that I could be productive in society again. He sought out true justice for me. He explained the plea bargain that I was offered and I was not convicted (adjudication withheld).
