Raquel Linda Trujillo is the managing partner of Trujillo Law, P.A. (TRU LAW). Ms. Trujillo was born and raised in Miami, Florida and comes from a family of immigrants whom fled Cuba seeking protection and better opportunities in the United States. Due to her many years of professional and personal experiences, Ms. Trujillo comprehends the needs of her clients, local community, and foreign nationals, globally.
Ms. Trujillo earned her Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Mass Communications and International Relations from Florida International University (“FIU”) and earned her Juris Doctorate from Florida International University College of Law. Ms. Trujillo participated as a student attorney in the FIU College of Law Carlos A. Costa Immigration and Human Rights Clinic representing detained foreign nationals before the Immigration Court at the Krome Service Processing Center. She went on to represent unaccompanied minors detained in South Florida as a staff attorney in FIU College of Law’s Immigrant Children’s Justice Clinic.
Ms. Trujillo began her career as a licensed practitioner as a staff attorney at the nationally recognized non-profit organization, Americans for Immigrant Justice, and subsequently expanded her experience and knowledge through her work at several private law firms. Ms. Trujillo gained experience in other areas of law, such as family, traffic tickets, and criminal while representing clients in their collateral matters in these areas.
Raquel Trujillo founded TRU LAW in November 2017, so she could share her experience and knowledge to serve clients in her local community, nationwide, and abroad. Ms. Trujillo provides each client excellent, personalized legal service, and goes the extra mile to reach her clients goals.
