About me

Norma Lorenzo is an immigration attorney with over a decade of experience dealing in a variety of complex immigration cases.  She currently leads a fabalous team of about 14 professionals and is physcially situated in Coral Gables, Florida although the firm represents clients throughout the US.  Ms. Lorenzo's immigration experience includes but  is not limited to National Interest Waivers, Research/Professor Greencard (EB-1), Executive Greencards (EB-1), PERM, NIW and various non-immigrant visas (including H-1B, E-2, L, O, P, R etc...).   Ms. Lorenzo also represents clients facing deportation orders and those in need of bonds before the immigration court as well as clients filing for asylum in the US.  Ms. Lorenzo has worked for various firms both situated in Miami and Connecticut and has served as in-house cousel for an employee mobility company where she did not only in bound immigration visas but also out bound visas for countries including but not limited to Spain, Colombia, Venezuela and Argentina.  Ms. Lorenzo is now the Managing Partner at Hermanni and Lorenzo Law Group.  Hermanni and Lorenzo Law Group is a full service boutique sized national immigration law firm which represents clients across the US.  Ms. Lorenzo is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at Florida International College of Law where she enjoys being on the other side of the podium at her alma matter teaching students Legal Analysis.  Additionally, she authored a bi-weekly immigration column in a spanish Connecticut newspaper entitled La Identidad and has been on featured on Caracol Radio addressing hot and current immigration issues.  Ms. Lorenzo  graduated Cum Laude from Florida International University College of Law in 2005.  Prior to that she recieved her B.S. degree in Chemistry from Barry University in Miami Shores in 1998 and her  M.S. degree in Forensic Science from Florida International University in 2002.  Ms. Lorenzo was Editor-in-Chief of the FIU Law Review and recieved the Publication and Excellence Award in 2005 for her services. She made Dean's List for her excellent scholarship throughout her years in law school and recieved top paper awards in several classes.  She is admitted into the Florida Bar and is a member of  AILA (American Immigration Law Association).
