This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority.
An admonition means an attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The Bar gives the lawyer an admonition in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.
Neil’s comment: “The Admonishment (a warning) was a result of a federal indictment (which says all you need to know about the quality of the case). After two trials (in 1992) in U.S. District Court, the prosecution did not want to go forward a third time. I now understand what being charged means and it has made me a better, more determined attorney. And my rating is still 10!”

After being scammed and taken for a ride right into an unjust plea by a previous representative (I hesitate to even call him a lawyer) my family and I were desperate to appeal our case and clear our name. After being given Neil's contact information by a family friend, we immediately went to see him. Neil was a consummate professional from beginning to end. From our first consultation all the way through to his victory in court for us, we were treated with dignity, respect, and - this is especially rare nowadays - compassion. Neil is not only the best and most thorough at what he does, but he is also patient, kind and understanding. He made sure to take the time to explain the laws and each step of the proceedings and legal jargon to us in a way that made sense and made us feel that we were in safe hands. He made sure to answer every question we had, and to constantly ask and check in with us between hearings to make sure we were feeling confident and ready for our appearances. In court proceedings he was strong, merciless and direct, and left no room for doubt about our case. The opposition stood no chance with him leading our defense. He swiftly and successfully appealed our original plea and fixed the mess left by our previous representative and totally cleared our name. He is, without a doubt, the best attorney in the business, and my family and I know that he is the only person we will ever call should we need his services again. We give him our highest recommendation and endorsement, and also our deepest gratitude. If you are in need of an attorney, it would be insanity to you even consider taking a gamble with your life or your freedom by choosing anyone else but him!

I have been practicing law for 20+ yrs. For as long as I have known Neil Taylor, I have been recommending that clients retain him for serious matters. Unlike most attorneys, Mr. Taylor tries cases, has been doing so for decades - and everyone knows it. That's the kind of lawyer you need in life and death situations when your freedom, your life, your well-being and that of your family is in limbo. When you retain Mr. Taylor, you and your family can be confident that you did everything you can to improve your situation. He is a fighter and is well respected by the state/government side as well as judges. I was told stories of him, and eventually met him from judge and law enforcement friends. He focuses 100% of his practice on the defense of individuals accused of crimes. I know from the personal accounts of people I have referred to his firm that he doesn't take freedom lightly. He's suited for the most complex white-collar matters as well as more common DUI and trafficking cases.
