My experience with Lawyer Lackey and his team was very disappointing. They were careless and unprofessional throughout the entire process. We hired Mr. Lackey to help us obtain residency while we were in Colombia, but it quickly became clear that he was not familiar with our case or the proper proced...ures. During our conversations, his explanations often didn’t make sense, and he seemed unsure about what steps needed to be taken next. The secretary, Jossy, was also rude and unprofessional. Her attitude toward clients she didn’t seem to like was completely inappropriate and made the experience even more frustrating. Additionally, the office retained documents that we had already paid for and said they would only release them if we continued with them for the next stage of the case. This was very concerning and, in my opinion, unethical. In the end, we were charged full lawyer fees for work that a competent paralegal could have completed more efficiently and with greater professionalism. I strongly advise others to avoid this office and instead look for a lawyer who demonstrates genuine professionalism, competence, and ethical standards.
