IF I COULD GIVE HIM ZERO (0) STARS I WOULD. In my opinion and based strictly upon my personal experience as a previous client, Bruce H. Lehr is a horrible trial lawyer. He represented me in a 2004 criminal extortion case, telling me that he could easily win at trial because he felt that the State of ...Florida would be hard-pressed to prove the essential elements of extortion. Maintaining my innocence to this day, I let this legal bungler pump me up with confidence in his ability as a top-notch trial lawyer, with an outstanding (so he says) win-loss trial record. He telling me that I would still get probation, even if I lost the case, and that he felt he could easily prove my innocence at trial, since essentially, both parties had unclean hands. He filled me full of false hope and gave me false promises throughout the entire ordeal. I then rejected an attractive plea offer from the State of FL and again in my opinion, Lehr was ill-prepared, and bungled my case at trial, causing me to lose and receive a three (3) year state prison sentence, plus three (3) years county time, and three (3) years probation, all to run consecutively. My advice, if you value your freedom, DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN. In my opinion, he is a shyster, and a legal bungler and if you retain him for a criminal defense matter, you are literally playing Russian Roulette with your freedom.
