Two months ago my nephew had a little run-in with the law. Needless to say, the family was terrified. Not having much experience with criminal activities our imagination went wild. We were left to depend on the advice of lawyers we did not know and did not know us. I don’t know if you are like me but... I find anything a lawyer says to me to be of a false and suspicious nature – not because I have experience with lawyers, but because I feel it is just in one’s inherent nature to distrust lawyers. After much searching and speaking to a few other lawyers over the phone, I finally spoke to Mr. Stroleny. Both my nephew and I decided we had a “warm and fuzzy” feeling about this one. He was honest, easily accessible and very reassuring. He spoke with confidence and was not misleading in his ability. I was certain my nephew would see, if not jail time, a good deal of community service. Mr. Stroleny assured me that community service was the most my nephew would probably face and even that was unlikely. I wanted to trust him, but was afraid to get my hopes up. Upon his word, my nephew was able to continue working while Mr. Stroleny handled the case with a “plea and absentia” and my nephew would not have to be with him in the court room. Mr. Stroleny remained easily accessible to me and my family throughout the entire case. He told us that his practice was very flexible due to the fact that sometimes people are just not able to stay in the city or even state of the offense. He was very reassuring, and though we were worried, we trusted that Mr. Stroleny sounded very competent and this lawyer knew his stuff. When the hearing date came, by 0930 that morning, Mr. Stroleny informed us that he was able to get all the charges dismissed. He never promised anything he couldn’t deliver. He never treated my nephew like a criminal. He recognized the honesty and goodness in my nephew, and so much as said so. I highly recommend the Law Office of Pagan and Stroleny. And though I hope never to require legal assistance in the future, I will use them without hesitation if the need arose.
In plain English: I highly recommend the Law Office and was very satisfied with their ethics in handling my nephew’s case. Mr. Stroleny was very affordable and even when he found out that the case he agreed to was more expensive than the one he was actually representing, he did not adjust the case to the full extent of the fees. He was flexible not only with his time but with the payments. Best case scenario, I hope never to need a lawyer again. Worst case scenario, Mr. Stroleny is my attorney of choice should I ever need a lawyer again, even if it’s just for minor consultation.
