I called Mr. Lopez after he answered one of my question here and he was kind enough to offer me the help I needed without even charging. He did not know that I could afford an attorney and he helped me anyway because he thought the reason I was using this site was because I couldn't afford one. I ended up visiting his office and paying him anyway because I was planning to pay him anyway. He really knows his stuff and is very passionate about his job, he is not one of the sharks I have dealt with before. An actually caring attorney, which is hard to find in Miami.
Elder law attorneys and elder care lawyers deal with issues related to elderly and disabled people. They write wills, answer tax questions, and plan strategies for obtaining disability, Social Security, Medicaid, and Medicare payments. Their services are useful for health and long-term care planning, as well as end-of-life planning decisions and instances of elder abuse.
Estate planning is the area of law that deals with arranging the person's affairs for after he or she is no longer with us. With good planning, much time and money can be saved. By using the help of an attorney there are many tax saving strategies that can be taken advantage of. These are all tax savings granted by our government that many people miss for not having a well designed estate plan.
When a person is too young to make decisions or is incapacitated and can no longer care for their own interests, guardian law allows the court to appoint someone to make legal and welfare decisions for them. A legal guardian may be appointed as a limited decision-maker or an all-purpose decision-maker. For example, children whose parents are divorcing often have limited legal guardians help decide custody issues.
"Death is not the end. There remains the litigation over the estate." - Ambrose Bierce. Caution must be used when using generic and preprinted forms, probate laws are very strict when it comes to the execution of a will and a simple deviation from the will formalities can render a will invalid. This would result in the estate passing through the laws of intestacy in a probate court procedure, which sometimes is an expensive nightmare for the surviving family that ends in fights and division.

This review is from a person who hired this attorney.
| Hired Attorney
Guardianship
Hired this attorney, trusted him to do his best. During hearing, he allowed opposing attorney to do all the talking and did not do a thing for our case. He did not defend our case which was very simple. Wasted my money.

"Mr. Lopez is an exceptional attorney. Although I have been practicing law for 24 years as a judge, magistrate, law professor, prosecutor, and private attorney, I learn from his responses on Avvo every time that he posts. If I needed an attorney, I would hire him. I recommend him with no reservation. It would be the best investment of your life to hire him to represent you."
